For those who wanna hear the actual backstory from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic:
The story begins in the magical land of Equestria, where there were two regal sisters, Celestia and Luna, who ruled together and created harmony for all the land. To do so, Celestia, the elder one, used her powers to raise the Sun at dawn, while Luna, the younger one, brought out the Moon at night, maintaining balance for not just their kingdom, but also everypony who lives in it. But as time went on, Luna grew jealous of her sister. Their subjects played in the day, but slept through her beautiful night. And soon, she refused to lower the Moon for her sister, who tried to reason with Luna, but the bitterness in her heart turned her into Nightmare Moon, who vowed that all of Equestria will be shrouded in eternal darkness. Celestia was left with no choice, but to use the fabled Elements of Harmony on her sister. Using the magic of these six elements, Celestia defeated her sister, and banished her to the Moon, and took on responsibility for both Sun and Moon.

Honestly I didn’t know what this is about until I saw the description..now I feel so bad for lunar. Nobody deserves to be in the shadow of someone especially when they try their hardest to make someone proud. However the thing lunar has done wrong is hurting her sister instead of doing the better, some people just gets so stress out they just want to hurt someone badly so that they can feel something good about themselves while it’s just completely wrong..besides that this video was quite interesting and I’m surprised you made such beautiful ocs!
