As KF goes on a field trip with her class to ODD world another unfamiliar classmate? came by to sit with her, as they were approaching their destination, they were caught in an accident when they all woke up they were in an unfamiliar place and a person asked for their help.
As they were helping they have seen that there were monsters lurking around but the monsters seem to be warning them about something?

When we travel back to the past we see blue, orange, purple, and green as kids they were also going on a field trip but it was at the famous toy factory
As the 4 travel through the factory, they discover the dark secrets of the toys being human. Little did they know they were deceived by someone!

I have a theory:
Rainbow gathered all her friends to go to The Fair but when they ended up somewhere unknown, she sees some belongings of her siblings, She then asks the group to help her find her Long-Lost Siblings, KF and Rainbow are the only ones not captured to be tested/experimented or turned into one of the Rainbow Friends yet
Little do they know, Rainbow was forced to run away from the Toy Factory to get help but they didn't believe her and the Krew is actually hiding her friends and is trying to protect KF and Rainbow so they can finally ambush Doctor Odd (The person that lured the kids into his place and dragged them there)
The Toy Factory was where they turned kids into toys or experiment on them, The Rainbow Friends area was just where they try warm up the kids to see which category they belong to:

Turned into Toys/Bots for selling
Turned into Toys(?) they decided not to sell

Video theory: Rainbow is the daughter of the scientist and she goes to each school that has a field trip to Odd world or the (lab, idk) so she tricks them to follow her and she is already use to the place because she grew up there which is why she was laughing when they were hiding. Then we go to the past of Blue, orange, green and purple as kids. They were on a normal field trip but they figure out the history of where they are and it has a darker history then people thought then the bus driver tried to turn them to toys but the cleaner hit that boi with a bat like SMACK and then he tricks them into following him and he turns them into toys because he is the scientist assistant and that’s my theory bye

So kf and her/his friends went on a field trip but instead of going to the amusement park, they were led to somewhere sketchy, and there it was the rainbow friends’ factory.
The backstory of the factory
It used to be a toy shop that sold millions of toy dolls called the Rainbow Friends, but ever since an employee spilled soda on the doll-making machine something was odd. The dolls came to life and started hurting children while asleep. But they really didn't mind about that. Then there came the dolls actually k!lling the children and their families. So it was reported to the police and they had to shut down. A few years have passed and that's where it starts….
Why the Rainbow Friends came to life
They closed in the year 1823 and kf and their friends accidentally went in the wrong direction and went to the old factory instead and they came in the year 2022. And since the little mascots were made of some very toxic chemicals when the coronavirus reached them they became alive. because they wanted to also harm the children that touch the mascot so that they will learn their lesson. And now the friends are alive roaming around the factory. But one of the friends wasn’t infected, it was Red they were not really proud about how they made the “Red” mascot so they did not put the chemical on the mascot so if anyone stole it they could just redesign another one.
Back to the story. When Red noticed that someone was there he wanted them to help him get his friends back to normal and he promised to let them free after. And while doing as he says they got hurt and were chased by the monsters.

Theory: The yellow haired man did not like the krew so once he took the there he tried to harm them but the old man saved them. Gold either left to seek help, hid the whole time or left and now works as an tour guide. The krew finds out the man is crazy so they try to run but he caught them. He harmed them but were saved(?) by some other people. They get good memories of the kind robloxian but the the old man makes a deal with another man and makes a potion to turn them to “rainbow friends” they found out he did so, so they go on and try to hide but he catches them and the get turned. A few years later other kids just like the krew came and the yellow haired man does not harm them but they were made to find blocks and do other “chores” they have to survive and some try to help the others from the krew but fails.
Edit: after rewatching I think that the cat girl is rainbow since they are so similar
