    As I've shared in a recent community post, I still have performance problems with Forza Motorsport, namely really low FPS requiring multiple restarts and these restarts plagued by 4-5 minutes of optimizing shaders. 😒
    I'm still working on trying to resolve this, but in the meantime I wanted to still bring you a video, so I opted to go for showing you a different racing game, which you will hopefully enjoy as well. Let me know if would like to see more ACC in the future! 😊
    I know I've only scratched the surface with ACC here and what FM could learn from it. Completely forgot to mention working replays for example which I was really happy I could include for you here. 👍

      Forza had multiclass before (GT+LMP)
      Sadly it has been gone for years now. (FM4)
      Old static lobbies where: (FM2)
      LMP1
      LMP2
      GT1
      GT2
      GT3
      GT4
      And Multi Class endurance GT1+LMP1
      I hope, they will bring back some of this, but chances are very slim sadly.
      They wanted less lobbies so they would have fuller lobbies, i can understand that.
      But the Multi Class Lobbies had a right to exist as they where very popular.

    I loved driving on ACC back in the day but found it needed so much time put into it to stay competitive. A great game if you have the time to dedicate to it though and other driving games can learn a lot from it, even the more casual ones like FM

      You're right, you need to put in some time into ACC to compete. But yes, Forza can learn a lot from it, while still staying unique.

    I do agree with most of what you said, apart your opinion on controller. ACC is very playable on controller, not only for the crazy fast guyz, but for anyone really (I do have >2000hours on the game exclusively on controller for the past 2 years, so I guess I can speak out of experience here, not to mention other sims which would probably double that number). It offers a huge amount of customization to adjust the controls, that games such as Forza do not. Nowadays I struggle more to play Forza type game than pure sim on controller.
    So if any of you is afraid to give it a try because "you don't have a wheel", please don't be. Just try it, you may very well like it.

      Very interesting to hear! 👍 I seems that I just personally struggle to play anthing but Forza Horizon or Trackmania on a controller. 😂
      So thanks for the input and experience, I hope this will encourage more people to try ACC. 😊

    Hello HD, I would definitely enjoy watching some of your racing in other games. I have been following some YT content where AC is used because I gather that it appeals to so many and is a respected platform. For myself I doubt that I will go the wheel/pedal/PC route in the immediate future, however I do think some of the features you discussed would be very beneficial in FM. Damage in multiplayer alone would likely lead to less of the rammers. I am also a data person and would definitely enjoy the additional information provided.
    From a visual and audio perspective, I am fine with what FM provides. I have a pretty decent sound system and to my ears, FM sounds very good.
    It appears that you have more patience than I possess, having to do multiple restarts due to stability issues would turn me off very quickly. I am disappointed that update 4 appears to lack any details relating to PC stability fixes. I realize it was the holiday season however if there was true ownership, employees at T10 would have accepted an abbreviated holiday and got some much needed things done.
    Once again thank you for sharing such excellent content 👍

    • @HDeeRacing
      @HDeeRacing  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I can understand not wanting to go the racing wheel route, it's not cheap, needs space and is a bit of rabbit hole once you get into it. 😅
      FM does a lot of things right, I just hope that Turn10 will look to other games a bit more and learn from them.
      Yes, I am quite patient, but recently my patience was really getting tested. 😒 I seem to have fixed the issue for now mostly, so hopefully no more of this nonsense. 🤞
      Thanks for your feedback as always. 😊

      Multiclass in FM Multiplayer would probably be a disaster. But I don't understand why there is also none in the career mode (not that I played much of that). Would at least make it more interesting.

    I don't like ACC's FFB. Which is the main reason I don't play it. I like RaceRoom and AMS2s (after all the updates) FFB, but there isn't really a competitive scene in either of those games. RRE has ranked, but lobbies are still mostly random and rarely many active. The things I'd like to see in Forza from ACC are things you mentioned: Radar, Virtual Mirror, Forza GT split into 3 groups (GT4 (need more GT4 cars), GT3/GTE, and GT2) and actually make an attempt to closely balance them like ACC and IRacing does (though LFM still needed to do more balancing for ACC with ballast). Things you didn't mention, rolling starts and proper triple screen support. I actually like Forza FFB, but it requires a lot of dialing it in, as default FFB is awful. And they need to fix matchmaking. It doesn't work at all. It should more resemble IRacing and LFM for longer races, and more like GT7 for shorter ones.

    • @HDeeRacing
      @HDeeRacing  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I feel you, FFB can be a killer. It's for sure very different from FM, but I quite like both. Though FM was a pain to get set up well, while ACC for me just works out of the box. RRE is also a great game, I enjoy that from time to time as well, but yes the Multiplayer is pretty dead sadly.

      Thanks for the feedback. 😊 iRacing always kept me away with their pricing model, just seems a bit ridiculous to me. But from what I've heard it's pretty great and has a lot of variety as well. I'm personally also liking RaceRoom, that has similar variety, but is fairer in terms of pricing. Both look quite dated though imo. A very cheap option is the original Assetto Corsa, which does hold up quite well, if you take the time to get some mods for it.

    ACC is a very good game overall with no major flaws that I can think of unlike *cough cough* Forza Motorsport. And as someone who used to play ACC on a gamepad it's surprisingly not that difficult.

    Forza really needs the radar ACC has.
    That and maybe per car FOV because T10 lacks the competency to set up cockpit cameras reasonably well themselves.
    I don't mind the lack of on the fly TCS/ABS adjustment.
    But it would be nice to have a general TCS/ABS/shifting type setting on a per car basis.
    However, Forza has tunable shitboxes, which is what I'm all about. Now excuse me while I go back into the D-Class hopper and try to divine the vehicle that will slay the mighty miata (pls nerf)

    • @HDeeRacing
      @HDeeRacing  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, radar is the biggest thing for me.
      On the fly TC/ABS adjustments aren't super necesary, but at least adjustable per car in the tuning menu or something would be nice.
      And yes, the variety is something FM has over most proper racing sims. Good luck on beating the Miata. 😄

    Hi,
    Just stream whatever you like, that's how the channel will grow - BTW, about TC and brake setup, GT7 has an immediate access to it too .
    IMO, ACC is more difficult, more competitive, and thus, has more high-level players - Maybe that's why GT7 and Forza Motorsport are there, they allow lower level players to race, even if there are a lot of high-level in both too .
    I've never had a fps issue myself, but I know a french streamer who has the same problem, especially in multiplayer..... I'll check if he also uses an AMD processor (maybe T10 missed something ? )

    I play the top 3 "simcad" titles. GT7, FM, & ACC. I'm still very new to sim racing maybe only 2 months. I only currently play in career mode in ACC cause I'm still learning the entire game. As of right now I'm playing GT7 more than FM due to how broken that game is in comparison to ACC and GT7. But I play ACC once a week just to keep learning the game so i can play it in multiplayer. FM really needs to upgrade so much of the game I think they dont understand where people are with racing titles

    • @HDeeRacing
      @HDeeRacing  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I've always seen FM and GT7 as a gateway to more sim focused titles like ACC or iRacing. The latter require more time to put in to get really good at them, but I find it incredibly rewarding. FM and GT7 however really shine in accessibility and providing variety.

      @@HDeeRacing but i think as per your video GT7 & ACC have very good physics, wheel input, multiplayer lobbies, radar, in race tuning. I feel T10 just stop caring about upgrading the dynamics of the game to basically give access to all levels of sim drivers. I feel so cheated because i purchased an series X solely to play FM and 3 months in it's still basically garbage. Maybe in 6 months it will be closer to what i and most Motorsports enthusiasts enjoy playing but for right now the game is unplayable for multiplayer. I'm going to knock that game down to maybe an hour a week. I'm already S class 4800k rated. But I'm going to work on getting A rated in GT7 for now

    YES! That's why we run Multiclass ourselves in our Racing League, no one else does it...
    But the problem is Multiclass is broken in some ways on FM2023!
    For example: setting the race to lets say 60 laps, makes it so that the race ends instantly after the end-race-timer ran out and the complete leaderboard of the slower group is all messed up
    > using timed race is the only way but the problem is, the race is finished where ever you're at. You dont get to finish the lap.
    I also wish Forza had the telemetry share for other drivers so at least through Simhub we'd be able to get other drivers' information.

    Coincidentally, I was just researching AC and ACC (not to mention GT7) because of the falling player base of FM. I came to the conclusion that I'm not really interested in a full sim. I like racing, but I don't get extra enjoyment out of maximum realism. FM is the right blend of sim and arcade for me. One other problem with ACC is the focus on a narrow range of car classes. I most enjoy hot hatches and classic cars.
    I'm okay with FM8, even with all it's problems, and I'm disappointed that my racing friends have mostly left it to return to FH5, whose tracks and emphasis on powerbuilds have become boring to me. I'm sure the bugs in FM will be worked out with time, and I have patience.
    I looked into GT7 as well. It looks to be as good for me as FM8, but I would have to buy a whole new game. After watching lots of comparison videos, I'm not sure it has enough advantages for me to warrant spending the additional money.
    EA Sports WRC 2023 Rally looks great, but it apparently has no head-to-head racing (such as autocross).
    Believe it or not, the racing in Wreckfest can be excellent. Before you think it's all about crashing each other, some players like clean racing and set up lobbies for only clean racing. The tracks and physics are actually very good.
    My main hope is for the new Assetto Corsa due out this year, but it might be too much of a sim for me once again. I'll be watching for it.

    • @HDeeRacing
      @HDeeRacing  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I can totally understand if a full sim is not for you. FM and GT7 are quite unique in their approach to racing games, there isn't really anthing else like it anymore. With all the variety and approachable driving model. I share your hope that it will eventually be a better game, but it may take some time.
      WRC has only racing against ghosts afaik and also rallye is a very different beast to track racing. I've played Dirt Rallye 2, but couldn't really stick with it.
      AC2 will most likely be very much sim focused like the two previous games, but who knows.

    I've played ACC a couple of times on big IRL events (The Bruselles motorshow) as well a few trial weeks. The gamer and IRL motorsport fan in me loves loves LOVES ACC but the reason i don't own it is largely due to the DLC being very pricey and necesarry, as well as needing some kind of organized league to get the most mileage out of the game. Solo is fun but doesn't settle my hunger. Still very usefull for getting reference material for cars you want to recreate in other games (e.g. my silver cup Comtoyou Racing Audi R8 EVO2).
    Apart from the points you mentioned wich would definatly be very usefull for the majority of the playerbase, i'm gonna add one : Driver swaps. If there's anything league teams on FM could use, it's definatly driver swaps. No more needing to rebuild lobbies from the ground up everytime a stint is finished and trying to get all participants into the right lobby.
    The cars also look and sound way better than FM admitedly (something i'm kinda bummed about).
    And if i was allowed to be a bit selfish and immediately take one car out of ACC and put it into FM... M4 GT3 my beloved all the way ❤ (sorry Nissan GT-R you know i love you 😭).

      I respectfully disagree that 95% of the bad actors in FM are Game Pass Players. If anything I’m am finding the most aggressive players / rammers are individuals that don’t qualify and have the skills to make their way from the back to the front and will ram you if you don’t get out of their way immediately. I am now at a 4400 skill level and S/A rating, and find it very easy to pick out the lower skill game pass “idiots” that are there to ruin other people’s race experiences. To me there are far fewer of these individuals than the much higher skilled “jerks” who no doubt, love to race.
