I just finished playing the game, and after tasting Nirvana in terms of a 3D movement-based Metroidvania, i've now also tasted Nirvana in terms of an arrangement for this song I never would have expected a sax chip to sound so good =x=
what a treat for this to pop up right before heading to bed. best song in the game by a mile imo and i really enjoy your take on it. also love the sybil art she's so cool :)
Yesterday I was listening to one of your remixes and indeed you made my heart light a spark, that's just how I felt it. Reading you in this video I can simply say that you are the kind of people who deserves recognition, talented artists who contribute positively to this world. Shoutouts and I wish you the best.
I absolutely love this, and I wish that the part of the game that inspired it was larger. Like, imagine the rest of the castle town being as huge as the castle, telling the story of how this kingdom fell.
A very well-done arrangement of my favorite song from the game. The extended part completely loses the feeling of the original, but that's the point of it, and it's not bad, just different, kind of like you said in the video!
dude! i love you for making this song AND THE REST OF THE TRACK IS IMPOV??? you are absolutely wild my guy. i can only hum my own variations to my favourite tracks but YOU, you're living the dream and making those unique extensions yourself. instant sub. hope to listen to more of your stuff. P.S. i made a pseudoregalia animation if you're interested in taking a look.
2:26 I've danced to this part so much. It feels like the king of the castle steps outside, theres a crowd cheering him being awake, then the king starts dancing, pointing at musicians to make the beat go harder, then that guitar part is just him having the time of his life. Next thing you know in 3:13 A van full of clowns pull up and start going FREAKY! Srry man i just see the vision XD!
I've listened to this like...an unholy amount of times and I just have to ask something... What exactly are these samples from? I *swear* some of these instruments sound notably..."Megaman Zero" - most notably the Piano.
@@CyberWolfDigital Touche! Wrong term on my part. I do remember that old rant video about MIDI Slapping so I should've known better not to use that term. Though I do know some instruments are common between titles. That's more what I meant - my bad. Buuuut if anything: it's good to know I'm not insane haha!
can't believe i let people be misinformed again but yes, everything is samples here. most of them are from snes games (most notably gundam wing endless duel) the piano is from the korg m1

God damn this sounds like a melancholic version of Cammy's SF2 theme and I love it.
3:18 i legitimately didn't expect this original part. the BOP meter on the right side of the screen is going crazy
Sybil looks good in a sweater
3:07 is beautiful
4:46 lit some fucking fireworks in my brain
Holy crap it's like the Composer of Chrono Trigger and Tee Lopes intermingled with that solo!
outside the castle walls acts 1 and 2
There’s not nearly enough Pseudoregalia stuff out there! Love this!
honestly i didn't think this could be improved on but you have proven me wrong, this does in fact whip

4:19 scratches right on the feels-good part of my brain, goodnees... this is some NEXT LEVEL arrangement, congrats so much!!
your arrangements are so good they make me want to funk dance and cry at the same time

Honestly sounds a lot like Touhou music to me and now that just makes me wanna hear you make remixes of actual Touhou songs
0:13 When I heard this part I already added it to my favorite music playlist-
I absolutely love this, and I wish that the part of the game that inspired it was larger. Like, imagine the rest of the castle town being as huge as the castle, telling the story of how this kingdom fell.
Oh we using the Natsume sounds, This is hits hard.
bro the little guitar that kicks in near the end slaps i feel like some of these remixes are b etter than the original
Very nice introduction to the game's soundtrack for me
pseudoregalia lfg
I get a very ‘Darkstalkers’ vibe from this track.
Those electric guitar and saxophone samples are W I L D

i swear there's shades of the Sonic OVA in the remix portion. guess that's what it would sound like if Sybil got her own OVA.

Yo I just started playing this game.

John didn't use samples, he used similar instrumentations like the MMZ guitar instrument. But as far as I'm aware, no samples were used.
