Around 39:21, The Selfless Spirit was in Exile because Chad blinked the Flickerwisp in the Endstep so Jeff could not have sacrificed it before combat damage...
uhm..question: Around 21:30 Chad attacked with a 4/4 TKS and Jeff double blocked with the Resto 3/4 and Voice 2/2. Going by the rule that I know each blocking creature gets at least 1 damage from the attacker. So Resto gets 1 and Voice gets 1, leave 2 damage from the TKS remaining to be selected on which creature he wants it to be. Resto cant die because he can only get 3 damage points. I dont get it... ? hope anyone understands my question.
The 'rule you know' is just wrong. Attackers must assign all their damage, but it can be however the attacking player divides it up. Chad could choose 2 to each creature, or 1 to one creature and 3 to the other, or 4 to one creature and none to the second. Chad decided to deal all to Resto and none to voice, so resto dies (4 damage), TKS dies (5 damage from double block) and Voice lives (no damage). Chad cannot choose to deal less than 4, but there is no rule requiring that all blocked creatures must be dealt damage (in normal, no keyword combat; trample and deathtouch do change things a little). edited to make more sense hopefully
If you're interested in the actual rules text about this, it's 510.1c in the comprehensive rules. Here's an abbreviated version: "A blocked creature assigns its combat damage to the creatures blocking it. ... If two or more creatures are blocking it, it assigns its combat damage to those creatures according to the damage assignment order announced for it. This may allow the blocked creature to divide its combat damage. However, it can’t assign combat damage to a creature that’s blocking it unless, when combat damage assignments are complete, each creature that precedes that blocking creature in its order is assigned lethal damage. ... An amount of damage that’s greater than a creature’s lethal damage may be assigned to it."

I feel like Chad gives a lot of tells with how he manipulates his lands. Don't touch your lands until you cast your spell.

Nope, there's no compulsory damage split, and the attacker assigns all the damage. Hope this clears it up :D

i really dislike andrew boswell as a commentator.
Not a big fan of chris, either.
Come on CVM is awesome
I just think he's a bit of a know-it-all and being such a big know-it-all myself irl, I don't think our personalities mesh well. lol!
