I don't usually have the luxury of releasing them one after another. Sometimes I post a script that I think is a one-off and then it turns out to be a series, other times I get through a good portion of the series and then there is a prologue or two afterwards. My Mafia princess series was one that I had already at scripted out and I just had to read but I paste it out thinking that people might get bored if I had the same thing every day or they might see the same thumbnail every day and not respond to it. So this has been an experiment for me and it seems to be working fairly decently. I'll have to take a look at what my growth is like between the two series to actually get a good comparison. We will see how it goes from here, we might be doing more of this!

In all the vampire lore I've known, a vampire is normally hateful & bitter towards their sire. But her sire seemed like a pretty good guy, and it wouldn't surprise me if he shows up in future episodes. Cool audio Dreamy! LOVED IT!!!😊💚👍
There are so many downsides to living forever that people don't think about but i think that if you found someone long lived (like a vampire), that you truly loved and they loved you in turn, you could weather any storm, any change, the good and the bad. Together forever with your soulmate, how many can say to be so lucky
The story-telling so far has been S-tier throughout this series and I adore this story so much too. It's interesting to see the relationship between and vampire and their sire be so mutual and understanding and dare I say even respectful. But I suppose those are normally for vampire who were unwillingly turned so it's refreshing to hear from the perspective of one who always wanted the chance to live forever and openly accepted vampirism. I truly loved everything you gave us here, from the stellar VA to the dangerously engaging story and also the beautiful night ambiance to boost the immersion of actually being in a botanical garden, all of it was a treat to experience. Thanks again for all your hard work!
Part 6!!! Wooo!!! I know she was fine explaing how she was turned and how it felt. And she was fine explaining her slight regrets. And I'm glad that she's not depressed about it, she wasn't forced she just wanted too. And that's all cool!! But I don't know if "where she was bit" as the best first date spot. That's like taking your date to the first place you were mugged. That's like second date material at best. But I guess they did share the night together and she gave him the "suck" so I guess they can do whatever. Still feel it was some not great advice from Dave. And he was doing so well. Anyway, jokes aside. It was cool hearing her backstory!! The way you performed (and worded it) was AMAZING!!! You can feel the emotion, the somewhat empty words and feelings. Not really sure what to make of the event. Amazing vid as always!! And stellar writing as usual!!!!! What can I say? This series has been peak!!! Thank you, for another great part in this series!! Her date was going on Dave's recommendation without knowing why it was special to her. But Dave knows her very well and knew that this Garden is her happy spot! She doesn't think of it as the place where she died, she thinks of it is the place where she was saved from Fear. As for turning the listener, part of her would love to have a companion who never died. She understands that even the best of relationships could grow old after a century or so, but she would like the option to try. That said, it clearly isn't a lifestyle for everyone and she knows that. Starting off an eternity with someone who resented her would be worse than having just 50 years with someone who loved her.

I've heard far too many horror stories about abusive or negligent sires, so I'm glad you're was so wholesome and healthy, teaching you what you'd need to know. In the books I've read from the 20's and earlier, I had thought that Dave (Awesome guy by the way, helped me pick out this suit) was a 'dedicated bachelor'. Great guy, excellent taste in clothes, I'll certainly have to talk with him about his skincare routine, I think he and I could become friends. :D Awesome audio as always Dreamy, I really love the history you've built/are building for this world, and I can't wait to hear more.
Dave has such a special place in my heart. I love him, and I love the kitchen duck statues that he dresses for every season and Holiday in his perfectly manicured Garden. And while his yappy, neurotic little dogs are obnoxious, I love that he has two yappy, neurotic little dogs, one for him and one for his partner. I love that, like he and his partner, the dogs are coordinating yet not matching. And I love that I would love for each other will not end with his life. Because the I will always love the real life Dave for all of these things and more. He was a great joy in my life while he was with us and his memory continues to be now that he's gone.
I will always love the honesty with which you speak as these characters Dreamy. You have such a talent for making me believe every performance and getting lost in the story you make. I love how this story unfolds so naturally and is really such a sweet love story. Glad I came back to watch these.

I'm so glad! This has really been one of the easier scripts to write, so I do appreciate it. But stick around, after this series is done I will have a short break to do a couple of scripts by other artists and then I will be back with my next werewolf story!
Dream, you're having a lot of fun fleshing this character out. Aren't you? A botanical garden sounds like a beautiful place to be reborn. Her sire sounds like an interesting person. Also interesting to see a historical view of someone who's LGBTQ that's very accepting. That's a rarity.

But I'm very glad to hear it worked out well for her. (Especially since it working out well for her works out *very* well for the listener.) I don't know how long you plan to continue this series for, but I do know that I will listen with rapt attention for as long as it goes. This is a lovely character, written extremely well. This series makes me happy.
This is already one of my longer series, and I don't have much more to go with it. But, there's always the possibility that will come up with new ideas for her in the future after I've put this character in the Box. No pun intended
This is all so beautifully written. Yes the medieval lifespan, at least in England was a little over 31 years but that statistic is very skewed by infant mortality rates and maternal mortality, especially among the nobility. Noblewomen were married off young especially compared to conmon women, since noblewomen usually wed and were expected to bear children in their teens while most common folk especially those of some means tended to wed and bear children in their early to mid twenties which significantly decreased the risk of maternal mortality.
Thank you! Exactly! I mean, infant mortality rates were ridiculously high but once you survived your first few years, the average lifespan was a lot closer to what we have now. People are more likely to die of things like black lung and Factory accidents, but they were less likely to die if obesity related causes and car accidents. So a lot of stuff evened out.
Love the roleplay, *hate* the bug noises. You're wonderful, and you should be very proud of yourself. Your work is excellent. I just really hate the buzzing of bugs in my ear. I'm very thankful it was only like a few instances.
The way the Vanpire gose into such detail with her memories makes me think that she has a somewhat photographic memory, maybe? either that or it's just memories that stuck with her really tight
I think it's photographic but also tactile. Their things that she actually experienced so she wouldn't remember just what something looked like but what it felt like. Like, going through the old house now might look similar, but it doesn't smell the same without the gas lamps burning and it doesn't feel the same when she's wearing denim jeans and a poly cotton blend long sleeve shirt as opposed to a corset and crinolines underneath a muslin gown
I know I said this before, I love the flirty vampire series and I really enjoyed them. Furthermore, it's nice being able to go on a first date with a flirty vampire like her. 😊❤

I think the only reason i'd become immortal is if everything I know suddenly changed. Like right now I know too many people in places and I get too overly attached to things. It's one of the reasons I don't own any pets because they die too fast. If all of a sudden, all of my friends and all Place as I knew and all of the s*** online I liked disappeared. Like I got Send to another world or Something Like that. I'd give being a mortal a shot, but not right Now I got too many things I don't want to see go. In my only consolation of knowing they're going to be gone is knowing I'm going to be gone as well.
I get it! This whole series is basically been my reaffirming What it Took me a long time to learn about grief and loss. It's absolutely not easy to let go of something before you're done with it! That most especially includes people you love
I understand where the vampire is coming from but I myself would never want to live forever. The reason is the same as why I hope there isn’t an afterlife, in my opinion life is supposed to be like a book, it has to have a beginning a middle but most important of all it has to have a end. There is nothing that terrifies me more than eternity.

Stereotype of a werewolf is a lot gruffer than the stereotype of the sophisticated vampire, but once we get past the stereotypes, there's a lot to be said for head pats!

I will disagree with you there. Yes, the words sodomy existed, but it referred to an act, just as it does now. Even calling someone a sodomite was not a reference to who they were as people it was a reference to what they did. As early as the writing of the bible, sodomy did not refer to homosexuality, it referred to any kind of unsanctioned sex, up to and including, but not limited to, oral between a man and woman.
I will add that there were plenty of laws and social sanctions against the types of things we use to define a queer person these days. Dressing in non-gender conforming clothing, and having same gender sex, we're both outlawed and shamed. So the effect of prejudice against lgbtqia2s+ people was very real. They just picked apart the act itself and did not have the word homosexual, or gay to describe same-sex attracted. The words themselves to describe an orientation didn't exist until the 1800s, long after the scene where this character was turned. Some people have debated that the idea of a person being defined by their orientation might have been in Plato's Aristophanes, but even then I don't think there were specific words used for it.

I think the only reason i'd become immortal is if everything I know suddenly changed.
Like right now I know too many people in places and I get too overly attached to things. It's one of the reasons I don't own any pets because they die too fast.
If all of a sudden, all of my friends and all Place as I knew and all of the s*** online I liked disappeared. Like I got Send to another world or Something Like that. I'd give being a mortal a shot, but not right Now I got too many things I don't want to see go.
In my only consolation of knowing they're going to be gone is knowing I'm going to be gone as well.
I get it! This whole series is basically been my reaffirming What it Took me a long time to learn about grief and loss. It's absolutely not easy to let go of something before you're done with it! That most especially includes people you love
I understand where the vampire is coming from but I myself would never want to live forever. The reason is the same as why I hope there isn’t an afterlife, in my opinion life is supposed to be like a book, it has to have a beginning a middle but most important of all it has to have a end. There is nothing that terrifies me more than eternity.

It's silly to suggest that before the word gay there wasn't a word for it. The word sodomy is couple of thousands years old.
I will disagree with you there. Yes, the words sodomy existed, but it referred to an act, just as it does now. Even calling someone a sodomite was not a reference to who they were as people it was a reference to what they did. As early as the writing of the bible, sodomy did not refer to homosexuality, it referred to any kind of unsanctioned sex, up to and including, but not limited to, oral between a man and woman.
I will add that there were plenty of laws and social sanctions against the types of things we use to define a queer person these days. Dressing in non-gender conforming clothing, and having same gender sex, we're both outlawed and shamed. So the effect of prejudice against lgbtqia2s+ people was very real. They just picked apart the act itself and did not have the word homosexual, or gay to describe same-sex attracted. The words themselves to describe an orientation didn't exist until the 1800s, long after the scene where this character was turned. Some people have debated that the idea of a person being defined by their orientation might have been in Plato's Aristophanes, but even then I don't think there were specific words used for it.
