This has helped me tons. Thank you! You explained everything that I had questions on. I sure wished the company we received the airvo was your company. The therapist put it together and pretty much said the instruction are on line. I’m a hands on person. If he would have walked me step by step I wouldn’t have had so much fear. So thank you

Question. On the myAirvo 2, usually You just see the check mark when It's heated and ready. But let's say you want to see the analyzed FiO2, so when you turn up your O2 flow, you get a measured FiO2. How do you access the in depth settings on myAirvo 2 to do that? What's the key combination?

I'm trying to get an AIRVO 2 for my tracheostomy. The DME has one, but It's already been a horrible battle trying to get it. i don't tolerate cool mist, and am on a ventilator most of the time, but like getting off for a few minutes. The HMEs dry me out, and I already deal with thick secretions. Can't get Pulmozyme because I'm not a CFer. Muccomyst causes severe respiratory distress, and so that had to be discontinued. Hypertonic saline doesn't help. So I'll try to get the Airvo, but if I can't, I won't be surprised. I even tried to get an Aerogen. That's not happenin either. So I'll probably just discontinue all vent trial offs, and go to Assist/Control, and stay there permanently. No sense in being off the vent if I can't get good humidification off of the ventilator. No sense in even breathing on my own at all. I'll just let the vent do everything, and I'll do nothing. Yeah, wanna do short periods off. HMEs don't humidify me, Cool mist does NOTHING! So why even bother getting off the vent?

Hey Peter, it sounds like the Airvo will be your best option. You could also try to adding a heater to the air compressor. Adding a heater to the cool mist can help with thinning out secretions and to keep you from drying out like the HME or cool mist alone seems to be doing. I would ask for a heater to be added to the cool mist if the Airvo is unable to be provided. Hopefully this is helpful. We service Michigan while our sister companies service most of the Midwest. If you are in the area we can certainly try and assist in getting you an Airvo of your current DME cannot! 877-944-9800

@@adventhomemedical I'm in the state of Kentucky. I'm talking to my DME right now, and they're going to try to get it for me. I think my forcefullness today helped. They're going to try. Also question. I think like an RT, and know about the Airvo, settings, and other info by heart. On the MyAirvo, I often see that FiO2 is not displayed. flow and Temp are displayed but on My Airvo the FiO2 is not displayed. Is there a way to get that displayed, or is that only visible on the standard Airvo 2?
