So this was the lead single from her album called The Return and she was reconnecting with her roots...video shot in Lusaka, Zambian dancers! It's a whole experience.
Yes she fire, definitely shes the G.O.A.T and she big on vision, poetry and story tell, as well as telling our African story and creating awareness to the world at large.on her music, the people in masquerades are part of Zambian 🇿🇲 🙌 culture, definitely conecting to her, roots, and putting zambia on the map while pulling other Zambian talents up. No wonder she'a got a new Song from 3months ago , which is the soundtrack for Black panther 2, the title is "Never Forget", by Sampa the great and Chef 187, Mwanje and Tio.please react to it including her other music.
The 🎭 masquarade dancers are tradtional dancers and she was eating traditional.food....and shes blew up in Australia but shes zambian so the song was basically her connecting with the zambians roots and botswana with the Return album
Sampa The Great is a Zambian 🇿🇲 artist, I am Zambian as well, her music is mostly focused about embracing the Black culture especially African. The 'Final Form' video is all about Black people celebrating their freedom way of life, togetherness and pride in their rich undying culture.
I totally agree Steve. The production and quality control is top tier. It's a 100 from me too. With explaining the meaning of the visuals, easiest way I can say it is she was displaying her connection with local culture and arts. In the visuals you can see traditional food, hustle culture, traditional dancers, fashion and so much more 😅
My fear is that given the timeliness and the nature of reaction channels that it will look less like paying homage and tapping in and more like using a tragedy for views. I will definitely be covering more from/tribute for Ricky Rick when I feel im able to approach it respectfully
