- Core (paraspinal & trunk muscle ) & girdle muscle (proximal muscle around the hip & shoulder ) is a very important muscle group for good balance while walking and running.
In Cerebral Palsy most of the time, this muscle is weak so it is very important to strengthen this muscle on a priority basis. it can be done easily by different primitive animal gait patterns with playfull activities.
It gives excellent outcome and boosts up the morale of the child. we had indoor activities on this topic on Friday at the Trishla foundation.

Sir i am from lhr pakistan my son i 11 years old spastic he can sit his neck holding talk gripping is good but he cant walk last year we operate his legs now his legs are slight curved feet r normel he walk with the help of two helpers who hold his shoulders please guide us what can we do his home physio is reguler
It's possible when IS a control for hands but with quadriplegia it 's so hard
