I wrap a hankerchief around the exposed part of the water tube, it protects it from freezing and I always have a hankerchief available.

excellent video! Any ideas on a hydration bladder that doesn't taste like plastic?

Hi FL, I use bladders from Osprey and I don't have any plastic taste. I hope this helps! Thanks for the kind words ;-). Enjoy the Outdoors and Say Safe! Cheers, Gijs

thank you so much, I'm traveling to Mount Pilatus for snowboarding, I purchased the POW 25 on your recommendation, I absolutely love it! Just confused about where to actually place the hydration bladder along with the tubing. Thanks again for the great video!@@OutdoorguruGearReviews

Did the lanyard for the hydration hose come with the backpack? Or does it come with the bladder when you buy one from them? Or was this bought separately?

Hi Ryan, I really wouldn't know. I send it back but.... I checked for you on their website and.... No. So it was probably mine that I put in it for testing. . www.uswe-sports.com/pow-25-black. Enjoy the Outdoors and Stay Safe! Cheers, Gijs

Very good overview. Question - Can you describe how the hydration tube is routed through the backpack? I check on USWE website and it is not very clear. Many thanks.

Hi Powdercondo, I don't have the pack anymore, it went back to USWE. But... It is like most pack: from the hydration compartment the hose go's through the fabric and into the shoulderstrap. This one is isolated but at the packs exit and the strap 'inlet' there is small part uncovered. Does this help?
Enjoy the Outdoors and Stay Safe! Cheers, Gijs

@@OutdoorguruGearReviews First of all, thanks for your reply. That was very kind of you. I missed the small overlap between the left and right side where the tube slides through. Thanks !! If you ever get to the USA and are interested in skiing or snowboarding in Utah, let me know. I can provide information, and if you do put Powder Mountain on your must ski list. BTW, curious - are you in Sweden of Norway?

Very good review. I'm considering this for overnight mountainbiking, winterskiing and for the fact that it has backprotector. What do you think about it using as a mtb back?

Hi Mukava, I would not know why not?It is solid and comfy enough voor MTB. Enjoy the Outdoors and Stay Safe! Cheers, Gijs

I have been trying to figure out the differences between the flow 16 and the Pow 16 and there is very little. Since the Flow 16 is a MTB backpack I would say the POW 16/25 would work great for mountain biking as well.
btw the differences I can find are the insulated tube routing, no side water bottle pockets on the Pow and it looks like the helmet holder for the Flow is more integrated.
