I've got some parts ready to install for next stage of the journey. Looking forward to it too myself! Thank you for the support! Blessings and respect!
How common is it to run into generators that don't produce electricity? That's the tricky part. You have to spend the time to get the engine running in order to properly test the power side. I have a used generator I bought from my neighbor. He was selling off some equipment for an acquaintance. It runs and produces 110v but the 230 outlet doesn't work. Unfortunately that is the more important one that I wanted to use to power my well. I need to look into that some day. I built a small homemade pallet to mount it to so I can pick it up and move it with pallet forks on my tractor.
Very true as well. Sometimes you go through the trouble of getting them ruining only to find out there's deeper issues at hand. Often they are not cost efficient unless you happen to have spare units laying around.
I'll check it now that I'm thinking about it again. I've heard that the capacitors can puff up or swell out indicating they are bad and that can cause them to not produce also. Or even the head itself can be bad. But honestly I don't know much about the power side of them. I'll let you know if I ever figure it out.
I would venture that if you have 110v you'll have 220v unless one leg is bad. If a capacitor is bad, then more than likely no power output at all. I may be wrong, just what I've experienced.
I was wondering something along the lines of that.. maybe with mesh. I'd like to figure out what went there originally. Appreciate the support! Blessings and respect!

Does it produce 110v on both legs? Like to each sets of 110v receptacles? Could be just the 220v receptacle bad if so.

@@1SmittysGarage yeah, I should check that. Would be a quick easy fix to replace the receptacle.
