Hell yes, two videos and barn progress!!! Really happy for you. I built a 30x40 pole barn and it was a lot of work, but so rewarding. So happy for you and your wife!!
I need the steel on your truck. I wanted to build in 2019 and delayed the project so now the steel is double the price. I tried looking for used 4.5" sch 40 pipe and runs at $6 per foot. Well maybe soon I will gather materials and upload a series on it. Awesome video.
It’s interesting to see how building techniques change according to what region of the country you are in. Down here in south Alabama treated 6x6 and old chicken house trusses (metal or wood) are the go to for pole barns.
Gotta love that black land gumbo. I have a Beltec hydraulic head on my loader and it makes it so much easier. Just add a little down force and it will keep it from skipping.
@@GolschHayFarms should have hollered at me. I've drilled 12" holes 10ft deep and put bells on them for a friend's house. I did 18" holes 8ft deep for 20ft gates. Once you use a hydraulic head, you will never use a 3pt again.
you don't know how much I appreciate this video. very helpful

I tossed around doing wood, but metal ended up being slightly cheaper. I do like both styles though
