Gold is of no use to skin. It doesn't penetrate. See any research papers online. They are all marketing gimmicks
Compare the price with another good brands, if they are cheaper and also good go for them, if they are expensive thn you can give auli a try

Is there any playlist in youtube for knowing these basics?
Just google the formula, it is very easy to understand even you're a layman
Gross margin= Sales+ closing stock-opening stock -purchases-direct expenses in manufacturing
Net profit= Gross margin-indirect expenses (like rent, electricity,salary to employees)+interest income+commission received - provision for tax
