Sierra Pacific Industries sawmill tour

As part of the 2016 Logging Modelers' Convention in Sonora, CA, we were treated to a guided tour of the Sierra Pacific sawmill in Standard. The tour began with basic log processing and ended with the planing machinery.

I worked at Loyalton before the turn of the century, it was a blast, loved every minute, and yes the work is tough, loved the cartoon music !

Rebeca Tello yes they do. Starting is about 18-ish an hour with all the overtime you want. You only go up from there.
