Kpop stans don't know what they're talking about, this is broadly edm and dance. Actual noise is disturbing, doesn’t have a pattern, it's random and unpredictable. These songs have a clear rhythm and pattern which is what differentiates it from actual noise (can't believe I would have to explain that). They're just loud and in your face, which some of us actually like.

Groups like Stray Kids especially have been targets for this insult (as well as NCT and other groups) but the shift happens when both group members and fans start to embrace the insults and turn it into something positive. I think of noise music as more of an an umbrella term used by antis rather than a specific genre.

A few of the female group tracks I thought were a bit more like over-glorified techno but just my personal opinion ^.^. Glad to see there is a strong love of the noise genre out there. TXT - Frost, for a mega-popular group, is such a hugely underrated track of theirs. One of their best imo.

Noise music sounds good if the artists have the energy to carry the sound. Coming from heavy metal fan, these kpop songs aren’t that noisy btw haha but maybe if compared to other Kpop songs, it might be noisy to fans.

I just want to say this and admittedly, yes it peeves me off enough to comment : None of this is noise music. This is not the noise genre. It's just loud kpop. This is a sound trend where lots of harsher sounds are used, but this is not noise music.

I literally love frost so much because I feel like I can act like a straight up psycho and I love it, noise music in general is much better because it is more up beat. Half the time, noise music is used in clubs too, because people can vibe with it a lot easier. Great video as always Yoshi ❤
