Let's say like at least 20 cards or so are themed in someway, could be as trivial as "each card has fire in the art" or "each card gives you another card". You can't kill the other player until you've guessed their theme, and I think to make it slightly interesting you can only guess a theme by skipping a turn. Or at least make it so you can only guess once every turn or something like that.

Should be: "Any player that deals any damage to their opponent during their turn must concede immediately, unless they have played 3 hero cards, or that damage was lethal (hence that player can't click concede)." This allows bombs/plagues and 1-hit lethal to be a pressure as well. I feel that this is better than seeing players stop hitting for some weird reason. The hero card limit can actually be replaced by some other limitations as well.
Rarran/Editor I suggest doing what other content creators who stream their videos do and blur the chat in the first 8 seconds of the video just to avoid unfortunate situations like what happened to you
I will say this Voidlord being so good was also due to it being released with two ways to get it out during the midgame so you just fucked every agro deck

(platonically of course) I am a bit surprised that the two of you don't play some of the funky Tavern Brawls like this as well, as often, since it IS an option for VS matches.
Eddy should have made a demon hunter suicide deck. He kills himself to damage before you can play 3 heros, therefore you broke the rules and forfeit the game, granting the demon hunter the win.
I feel like demon hunter would not only work but be kinda good lol. One of the best wild decks draws a ton of cards and applies lots of pressure, so you could get your opponent low, draw the Kurtrus, play him, and get lethal. And if you don't win with that first big board you can follow up with either the lifesteal combo or the fatigue combo.
Calls the hero slow when she literally gives you a free turn from damage almost always, and with Rarran's plan of not dominating the board, that seemed perfectly aligned with his plan
There are workarounds, that's why tentacle shaman used to work because technically the triple battlecry tripled the effect of the card and the effect was to cast a spell (sunset volley) which then dealt damage, the effect itself wasn't dealing damage. Same thing with Brukan I guess the effects count as separate instances from the battlecry themselves.

Only prevents the battlecry doing direct damage. Anything that casts spells or shuffles things into your deck that cast when drawn is fair game.

Using the ragnaros skin should make your hero considered an elemental like the one demon one from before hero cards were even technically a thing.
