I mean it depends, is it &40 or $20? I mean I have plenty of lures just like that one. I don't know about the scale boost. The jet boost kinda unnecessary. However the flash boost seems kinda cool.
I mean I can catch a bass with a hook on a spoon I'm sure I can bring in on this thing.

i can tell you right now the flash boost works. i have seen picky fish eye it from afar and gradually come closer, watching watching watching the mirror twitch like ive never seen them treat a jerkbait before. its like it mesmerizes them on the pause, then when u twitch they cant let it go anywhere they are impulsed to strike
I think it just depends on the fish because I haven’t had any luck with it in salt or fresh water, but pop on a rapala and BAM, it’s like the bite just started up. My experience has been, it’s just another expensive bait to catch anglers more so than fish.
@@Lemurai I use plenty of old rapalas. They work fine, but when they don't, this will catch pressured, picky fish. There is clear and simple to understand science behind it, and it's the secondary action of the twitching mirror simulating aspiration. It looks like a scared minnow desperately fluttering it's gills.
@@Lemurai well I have a small local pond that’s super pressured and it’s hard to get the bass to hardly eat anything but an actual live bait fish. Some dude comes through with a $120 swim bait and rips in one of the biggest bass in the pond. 🤷♂️
No two water bodies are the same. I wish rapalas worked as well for me as they do for you, your spots sound fun.

Duel/Yozuri mag cast system is far superior... Jet boost will shift weight in mid flight, but mag cast system will only shift weight upon first retrieve after landing... 🤷♂️

Nah.. I've never had that issue with my Shimano Silent Assassin 99f ARC lures I bought 9yrs ago and still cast to perfection.
Price?
The casting part is important and nice. Other two are not. It just looks good but these scales will never be a decider for a fish to attack or not. Presentation, wiggle and roll of the lure and size are what matter. Ofc using black lure in dark and muddy water is probably wrong but even then a hungry fish can sense it.
Yeah but that’s a given for any fish but it can’t sense it from a certain distance but in clear water it Candi having a highly visual attraction is really important.. they aren’t saying go use them in cloudy water but in some ways if it’s sunny it can still give off flashes of light..
To catch a fish it’s 90% bait presentation, example; putting a soft plastic swim bait on a shaky head jig, if the bait is all sideways and crooked a fish will not bite it and 10% technique.

I just plastic wrap my rapalas and.any scale pattern I want or any type of fish I want that lure to be I just print it on the plastic from my printer!!! I really should go into business doing this since I’ve done my father in laws and the guys at his office!!! My brother in laws!! And everyone he knows, the fishing club he fishes with and that towns fire department and the police department and even the head surgeons and his staff 🤦🏻 if I charged a dollar for doing each one I think I’d be doing fairly well 🤣🤦🏻

3 rules to save money fishing.
1- The smartest fish is probably still a little dumber than you. Otherwise you'd have drowned already.
2- A fish will bite almost anything if you just wiggle it right.
3- Cause of rules 2 and 3 damn near anything can be made into a fishing lure.
I caught 3 bass with a Twizzler on a worm hook. Yeah the candy.
Everything from candy to random crap in the junk drawer or toolbox.
Why not combine the 3 features of each in 1 lure instead? And that folks is “Greed”!! 😅

It falls wright into place in my fishing arsenal. I've been catching monster Snook,Speckled Trout and Redfish with this old technology bait that I bought over 10yrs ago. The shimano silent assassin arc is an absolute beast.

Honestly, every plastic-lipped swimmer looks the same to me when they’re swimming. The only variability I see is one may wiggle wider, one narrower, one faster, one slower, but they all have same TYPE of wiggle. None of them look anything like how a real fish swims.
It’s all designed to take money out of your wallet.
