The promotional video they put out for this lure was ridiculous. It was all cgi and no real footage. After watching it I was unimpressed and thought “this is just another expensive lure to catch more anglers than fish”
Hi LB and good day. Question please, have you ever fished an "Umbrella Rig" for anything? I'm considering trying this weekend for trout in a river. It's dam regulated, fast moving water. Getting down to a depth of 5' is difficult with current. Hoping you may have any advice please...Great Thanks!...Also looking forward to trying a swimbait. Glad to see Shimano doing different things.
Very informative video Isabella. When you first mentioned the dimension of the bait l thought you were going to say it was 190$, but it was 190mm 🤣🤣🤣 Isabella do you know if you can switch the hooks out for ones with a shorter shank, instead of pushing it back like you showed. All in great video. Happy fishing as always 🎣🎣🎣
I have two of the fishtail (i think it is) frames and i love them. They fit my smaller head great. I also have a pair of maui jims which are great lenses.
That joint in the middle of the bait looks insane and gives it very unique action!
So glad you got one to test out! An honest opinion is great and glad you caught one on it. World popper still hasn’t arrived!
🙌🏼🙌🏼 Thanks David! Iv heard great things about that world popper

Very nice vidéo! Really enjoyed that you used it and the uneder water footage was super nice! Great job👌
I just bought some of these baits and will try them out soon. Thanks for the bait review.
Very interesting bait shimano has been really innovative recently in the bait game look forward to what else they are working on
🤣😂🤣 I thought this was a Seth Feider video. Saw the long blonde hair and missed the bushy mustache.

That rig is a great way to imitate a school of baitfish and catch fish! Fish on👊🏼
Great vid!
Shimano, Swimbait. First thought that comes to mind, LB. I can't think of anyone more Qualified to Field Test this bait. GREAT Video!
Haha yupp!😂 I was excited when i heard about it too!
Of course Shimano can't keep current product in stock but keep on pumping out new product!!
It’s really great. I’ve already caught a few pike on it, hoping for a bigger version of this.
Thanks for the video!
Glad your catching dude!
Am I hearing a whistling noise from your bait? Mine does the same thing. PS- you are using the exact same reel I use to throw mine
Great video
Very interesting bait. Great review.
It is! Thanks bassgeek🙌🏼
Sweet fish on.
very well explained!!
Question: why did you edit out a crucial part of knott tying, especially when you have a 2 oz bait?? Just curious
If i leave everything in the video would be vey long, plus i have a knot tying video for those interested

Yea you can!
Pretty much all lures that have trebles can be switched out. It’s just a split ring that holds them on.
Looking to try this for sure
Its pretty cool!
@@LadyBass great footage too
Are those Costas? If so, what frame are they?

Sold! I want one
What type and strength of line are you using with this size swimbait? I just bought the Armajoint and don't want to lose it lol
I usually run 20lb fluorocarbon on my swimbait rod, but anything from 14-20lb would work for the Armajoint as its not a huge/heavy swimbait
You should have counted how many cranks it took to real in the bait
it's the red Yail
That lure really looks like it is alive in the water.
“Not a big fish” ok… that’s a decent fish I’d be ecstatic to catch any day.. not a big fish pff must be jaded catching regular 5 pounders
Nice
