Thanks EC I absolutely relate to the cold bitter tone and lyrics as my son died after house he was living in was purposely set on fire. One of many violent crimes in the City of Flint. This song embraces the negative impact of violence in many of our inner-cities and the lack of awareness to it. Music is a perfect avenue to showcase the wrongs being done to our youth at the hands of criminals and thugs. We must embrace the bad along with the good.

Well... the teacher comment is very political. It's a leftist stance. In reality, teachers in the US are paid far more than teachers in other countries. The US spends 5-10-20 times what some other countries do (per student) while other countries consistently produce smarter kids... if anything, US teachers are OVER-paid.

Teachers are the last people that should be unionized to "protect themselves". The teacher's union widely decides the curriculum. Their pay should be performance based. If they are doing an inadequate job....fire them. Don't let them hide behind the cover of the union
