Ive operated loaders and bulldozers quite a lot and can appreciate the possible dangers you might have if you arent very very careful and observant of your situations. The closeness of other drivers and vehicles and the weather conditions and slope of the loading area can be deadly if you arent smart. You handled all this with an expert hand,,,,especially the extra unloading of your wagon and placement of stabilization blocks for the train wheel sets. When I was in the US Army stationed in Germany 74-77 assigned to the 37th Transportation Group; drove Tractor/ trailer mostly southern Germany, but also made trips to Bremerhaven, Berlin and into the Netherlands. I loved it! Stay safe out there Angelica!!
I had that happen to me once also, battery dead just minutes after turning off the engine. It turned out to be multiple cells on the batteries where boiled dry, it smelled like rotten eggs .. Now I have gel batteries in the truck, hopefully it won't happen again. Love watching your videos , and how much you love your work! You are a good "ambassador " to our line of work!! Keep on trucking! 👍😎
Fingernails with your favourite colour , love it! Actually it happens in cold weather, the thing with the batteries if they're very old. In trucks they last for about 3 years. And always avoid, in winter, starting the truck for a short period, like 2 minutes, and then stop. That's what really kills the batteries. Better leave the engine running then stop it.
Very interesting to see the differences in equipment compared to North America. And also of note, the lack of whining and complaining ! You got on with the tasks at hand and dispatched those tasks with efficiency. Your Dad must be very proud,and your Mom,of course!
I just love running/operating Equipment too..!! So, in my life I started out in rock quarries running crushers, frontend loaders, bulldozers, Draglines, clamshells, tugboats, went to a receiving dept: ran forklifts, then learned how to Fly, got all of my ratings (some I Didn’t use like Seaplane ratings) went to hauling freight at Night in DC-3s, DC-4, BE-18s, Boeing 727, 737 & B-747s and the A-300 heavy Airbus... SO, Yes, I have always Loved running Equipment 😎👍✅✈️. 5:00 🕔

We have similar weather issues in Canada so we all have to adjust our driving habits. At the first snowfall, there are a lot of people who need a refresher course on how to drive on icy roads. Those are the ones that are involved in accidents or try parking their vehicle in the ditch. They soon remember how to drive on icy roads. I enjoy your videos and I'm currently working my way up the list from your first video to the current ones. Keep up the great job at the content.
Always fun to watch your latest adventures. We'd lose half the drivers in the US if they had to run a wheel-loader (they can't back up, as it is lol). I had to laugh when you were rolling up straps (I have sometimes wondered how I must look while rolling up straps but in fast-forward, I'm sure it would be highly amusing lol). After nearly 30 years, my best advice is to never lose your curiosity or the ability to learn new things. Be safe and have fun!

I believe her truck is automatic. Unless she has a low and high range as well but i don't think so.
TSF99 yeah the Volvo’s are just a straight 12 speed. Nothing much you can do.
