  • Today's video emphasizes that white individuals must invest time, effort, and study to form informed opinions about racism. It critiques the dominant culture's failure to provide essential information on complex social issues. Using women's suffrage as an example, the speaker highlights the need for active disruption rather than passive friendliness in addressing oppression. While focusing on racism, the video recognizes the interconnectedness of various forms of oppression and underscores the importance of deeper understanding and active engagement in combating systemic issues...

All true and there was a Christian presence in the Congo in the 1500s, and they protested their citizens being kidnapped to the Pope in Rome. The Portuguese were there, and thats another story. But in the new world it was all about profits and power.

What does she mean by “GIVE”.
No one gives to another what already belongs to him.
It is similar to saying that a thief should ‘…give ..’..to a person what was stolen. A thief is forced to RETURN what was stolen but giving is an entirely different meaning.

    Noah’s had 3
    sons.
The lie that one of the son’s were cursed was just that; a lie.
Noah cursed his grandson Canaan, for the sin of Ham
looking and laughing at his father’s drunken nakedness. This curse would not condemn all of Ham’s children.
Also, this curse does not enslave anyone.
it only states that Canaan will not be as prosperous as Shem
and he will be dependent on him. Ham many sons that were Black and Ham’s descendants are of all ethnicities, to include Black, White, and Asian. So does Shem and Japheth, so now what?
It shows me the ignorance and lack of critical thinking skills
    these people had. Also,
it shows that people will lie on God and do anything to retain and maintain their power structure.

you remember Ndugu Evans even us Africans in most East and Southern African languages we called them Mzungu, from Mzunguka, which meant traveler. We the Africans did not necessarily have a concept of color as in their whiteness. They were Mzunguka who just so happened to be white. Hence Mzungu/ Mzunguka became synonymous with Whiteness.

Very informative podcast, but one correction, adaptation did not cause the variations in skin color, selective breeding or grafting is the reason, where over a period of generations, the black dominant gene is bread out from the original melenated being until a pinkish pale skin being is produced. There were jet-black skinned people living in West Asia/Europe called the Grimaldi Africans from over 40,000 B.C to around 6,600 B.C without changes to their dark skin, also today, the Annuit people/ Eskimos are still dark skinned and they have been living in the cold extreme north for over 15,000 years and are still nature driven and non aggressive unlike the Caucasoids.
