- We unbox, review, and build a display diorama for the just-released Hot Toys Golden Armor Wonder Woman figure! This sixth-scale rendition of this iconic armor has incredible shelf presence with its massive wingspan and shiny gold paint finish. Norm designs a new display base for it to incorporate the most perfect piece of lighting accessory for Wonder Woman: a brilliant and bright LED lasso of truth!

What an absolutely incredible display. The Hot Toys Golden Armor figure was already gorgeous on its own but your lasso project elevates it to an entirely new level. Plus, the fact that you did this for your wife is simply adorable, and it makes the final product (and your priceless reaction) all the more heartwarming and enjoyable.

That figure is insane!! I don't understand why so many collectors are complaining about it.
People will always complain when they feel that they aren't getting their money's worth. That's why I follow several large figures groups, to watch grown men complain about their insanely overpriced dolls. It's quite entertaining
Because ppl always complain. You see this in every movie as well, it almost never seems to be good for the fans no matter what happens. :)

Watching Norm's intricate videos, showing all the detail with beautiful lighting, really makes you appreciate how far these kind of "toys" have come. I still have some early models from a decade+ ago and they pale in comparison.

Amazing work. It's stunning. I was surprised, though, that you didn't make the base a bit thicker and then carve out a recess in the underside for the battery. It would be simple to rig it up so that there was a switch on the side to turn the lighting off and on, and the final display would be a lot cleaner and more finished looking.
When I first saw this figure released, I hoped Norm was going to do a project like this. He didn’t disappoint.

The LED light strand is GREAT! WOW! Blows my mind for how well it will work!
Seeing the result is even more impressive. Everything seems to have come together remarkably well.
General Forum Question: I've always known WW had a armor of Gold that was either given to her/defiantly taken from the Temple of Hera. When were the wings added? Were they in the ORIGINAL comic books??? As a 64 year old fan of WW, I think the wings are an remarkably appropriate (and proper) addition to the Wonder Women motif. Hera, herself, must of guided that addition. Side observation Myth says that when that when Icarus and Deltilus(sp?) died Athena took the wings back to Olympus for safe keeping. I have to assume that Hera acquired them somehow (an unknown story).

looks great, maybe you can paint the plywood edges black or gold
you could cover the parts of the led cable so it looks more realistic without any leftover cable shining.

You should find a DC villain instead of Iron man...he is one of the good guys after all...nice effect though...stay safe!
I think it works pretty well. For most of the MCU he more or less embodies "the arrogance of man", being egotistical and believing technology should have no limits
