You just saved me a bunch of money. I can buy a pair of washers for $15 or get a small sheet of phosphor bronze for a few bucks & make all the washers I need. Much appreciated sir 🙏🏼
yea mate had to remove the flue months back so will be fitting new one and opening up the exchanger for a clean out might remodel the riser again this year will post vid when i do it mate. cheers

Why do you use bronze washers? I haven't made any knives yet, so I don't know what happens with steel washers, but I'm just curious.
Bronze holds lubricant and is very slippery also does not mark the steel being softer.
