I am sure I was holding off for a ROHM and R2R and will probably pick up the dac chips for the XDUOO XD05 Pro. But that combination sound like a perfect pairing!
I don't know how the Rhom sounds on the Xduo, but with the money needed for the two modules I would take a DC-Elite directly. It really is a miniature D320 MAX TI... I perceive the EM6L as a bit too bright, it lacks some bass punch and body. Could you please compare SLIIVO with SIMGOT EM6L? bass, mids, treble, resolution, 3D imaging?
Hey tonedeaf monk just wanted to ask a question for after watching this comprehensive review. Although you praised this set for its vocal performance and technical abilities. I would like to ask if this is a suitable set for more digital music genres such as the likes of jpop/vocaloid? How would this set comoare to the likes of a simgot em6l or ea500lm? Is it worth the extra price hike to go for this set instead? Also thank you for the review and would appreciate your comments and thoughts about this set for the music genres I listed above. (Edit) I also wanted to ask if there is any "holographic staging" with this iem akin to something like an olina se? If so this iem would peak my interest. Also how does this compare to the likes of gizaudio chopin?

Thanks a whole bunch for your rec of the Meyer Sliivo Audio SL41. Got them in finaly. This new tuning is so awsome. I'm about a hundred hours in now and they start opening up and are becoming sooo trippy (and so real) with great recordings. The stock tips are a blast and a real treat with the finest recordings, less so with lesser ones though. I found the yellow tips from my 7HZ Timeless to be great and real audiophile (little more musical and forgiving), the white ones are tu(r)ning them in to giant main stage stacks 🙂. How is this possible for under 200 Euro/Dollar? :-0 Great times for this hobby man! Q (if i may): What are the orange tips use on these? What dot they do for the sound? Or do you happen to know what the default white tips are they came with for that matter? Can't find it anywhere. and HiFiGo does not know.😞They are great. My thanks are 7 meters high ;-) man. @@tonedeafmonkThe Doscinco is really great though, Its got that slam and thump yet still very clean and balanced sounding. An upgrade over the d41 imo.
How does this need tunning compared to the Chopin? Which sounds better
I already own the ea500lm u think would it be an upgrade to this IEM?
How's this one vs the cadenza 4? FR graph seems kind of close.
The D41 and the Cadenza are close and I compared the two in the review. The SL41 is tuned differently you can substitute my comments on the D41 vs SL41 bieng the same way the Cadenza 4 would sound vs the SL41
Hi Monk! What to choose Falcon Ultra or SL41 ? That's a difference of $25. Thank you for your warm videos. Please help me to understand I am confused. I already have a PA02.
Um that's a tough call I would say if you don't have a great Single DD IEM then Falcon Ultra absolutely, The SL41 is a different spin and would compliment tour PA02
@@tonedeafmonkThank you dear Monk for your answers for me. But things change quickly and I forgot to delete the message. I bought Ziigaat Cincotres.
Now I want some bubblegum drivers...
So, this is SLIIVO x Monk collab!

Thank you for the great review. I really like the honest and natural way of talking about headphones. The only IEM I have is the SIMGOT EM6L. I perceive the EM6L as a bit too bright, it lacks some bass punch and body.
Could you please compare SLIIVO with SIMGOT EM6L? bass, mids, treble, resolution, 3D imaging?
I marked improvement in all those metrics a worthy upgrade IMO
if its anything like the cklvx d41 its a direct upgrade.
It is the better of all the set you mentioned IMHO, And yes to Jpop 100%
@@tonedeafmonk thank you
Got mine just now! What tips you got on it? H570? Edit nm penon liquor tips, funny those are the first I’ve tried haha. I figured I got these tips last month and haven’t even tested them yet. Also have the blacks.
Orange ones now
Thanks a whole bunch for your rec of the Meyer Sliivo Audio SL41.
This is a truely awsome addition to my IEM collection. Safe/save the best for last/less, cause it's the cheapest one of the bunch now.
[ Etymotic ER4XR - Final Audio E5000 - 7hZ Timeless original (all on other cables and with different tips ;-)]
The Orange tips are Penon Laquer tips my go to now
@@tonedeafmonk thanks once more. Will try them out for sure.
@@tonedeafmonkblack or orange?
The orange tips are from Penon but I would recommend the Black ones
@@tonedeafmonk Thanks man. I ordered the orange ones and If i like them I might get the black ones too. Curious about the differences. From all the reviews on the Penon tips I decided to go for the orange ones first as they seem to be more in line with my taste. Also comfort is paramout; and the orange ones are just a tad softer. We'll see (read hear). ;-)
So happy with the SLIIVO SL41's man.
Hi, I have my old Fiio FH5. Does it make sense to "upgrade" to Sliivo SL41?
Yes it's a better set IMHO
Bang bang gang 👉🏻
💙
🤟
How confusing. Sorry that Meyer audio did this to you. The final version should have been called SL42 if SL41 was sold in the market.
Maybe a small typo, but you've been calling it Meyer Audio instead of Myer Audio like its Ali Express store ;)
Your right I did it again LOL
Bruda, kindly recommend an IEM under 100 dollars which suits genres like lofi, hip hop, rap, indie pop, electronic pop, chill wave, indie rock, trip pop....
Simgot EM6L? It can cover a lot of genres successfully and often found around 100$!
A Simgot EA500LM with a 500 level filter on the Red nozzle!
@@tonedeafmonk do we need to buy the filter?
@sanjaycool4737 Yeah the $5 Simgot tuning kit and EA500LM hopefully find under $100
@@tonedeafmonk I meant under 100 dollars😅. Not exactly 100 dollar
Merci !
Thanks so much 🙏
@@tonedeafmonk You're the best !
If you love it so much why didn't you compare it to iems that cost a little more ? This is how us consumers look to buy , so no other comparisons this video does not help. Oh yes comparing D41 doesn't help .
Stop schilling Monk!!!!!!! Lol
All reviewers agree that the D41 is very underrated, I ordered but was back order so I cancelled, now it's either SL41 or if I can scrape enough coin to get SLT6
I would hit the SL41 and wait the 1+4+2 from the same tuner is close and it looks amazing on paper
they made pa02 clone again kekw
Not the SL41 but definitely the D41 is exactly the same as the PA02
Its a shame they crapped the tuning
The new tuning for me is the BOMB!
Myer audio ruined a perfect tuning, now it play like other one
I can see why some would like THE PROTOTYPE tuning over the new boosted one but then there is the Cadenza 4 out there as well and Studio 4
We have seen this with the Hidizs MP 145 planar. Can’t trust this company! I think Nooo! Don’t like the 5k peak. Was going to buy the original, but not now.
I think they learned a big lesson here and should have renamed the revised version
my mp145 sounds great, but I got it off kickstarter. Is the revision even different? To me it looked like it was just a small variation of like 1db somewhere due to the backplate or unit variation.
