Oman is a pleasant place to travel. I visited Oman for two weeks a few years ago, and I rented a car for a week in Oman. It is safe to travel and the roads are remarkable good and safe. I went to Laos in July 2019 and spent one week visiting Vientiane, Vang Vieng and Luang Prabang. The only thing I regret is not spending more time in that gorgeous country. Vientiane is one of the most laid back capital cities I've been and definitely the most quiet in East and South East Asia. Vang Vieng is a natural paradise / natural playground, but it was the atmospheric Luang Prabang that stole my heart: every morning long lines of Buddhist monks walk silently among beautiful temples and colonial houses, while devout people give them rice as offerings. And then there are the nice restaurants, the cozy hotels, the night market and a spectacular view of the Mekong river from the top of a hill. Laos is way less touristy than its neighbors Thailand and Vietnam, meaning it's less crowded and feels more authentic.

I think Romania has alot more to offer than what all these types of videos mention. Romania is not just Transylvania and Bucharest. Theres some nice beaches and resorts on the Black Sea, also the Danube delta is good place to visit as is the second largest delta in Europe. In the winter Romania has some nice ski resorts and good hiking in the summer.
Been to most of these, loved Oman, Lithuania, Montenegro, Ecuador, but some really aren't that underrated like Belize, if I had to pick one in Central America it would be Nicaragua, and for a Balkan country not Montenegro, its pretty well found by tourists, more underrated are Bosnia, Albania, Serbia, Kosovo.
