Pretty good list. I’ve been to Ronda, Spain and it was pretty amazing. Most who visit just day trip it but i stayed overnight in a hostel an hour walk from the train station at the bottom of the bridge and i took an early morning hike to the waterfall below the bridge. It was magical seeing all the hot air balloons looming over the city
One hidden gem I’d recommend is Kufstein, Austria - a small quaint town on the German border. Very picturesque and has a medieval fortress overlooking the city.
For tourists in France I would highly recommend Montpellier, Perpignan and Grenoble. All three are wonderful and not overcrowded. In Germany you should visit the smaller cities as Freiburg, Trier, Lübeck or Augsburg. They are really worth visiting.
Austurias, North West Spain. Wroclaw, Poznan, Bydgoszcz,Gdansk and The Polish Mountain ranges. Pardubice, Kutná Hora, Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic. Bratislava and The Tatra Mountains in Slovakia. Zagreb, Croatia. Many more places.
I went so many times to Innsbruck as kid and teenager to visit my grandparents there. It’s such a beautiful and underrated city, tho I do notice more and more tourists every year. Definitely a city everyone should visit! 🇦🇹

@Bulldog Debit Why are you commenting that on every person writing about how they love Ghent? It's certainly one of the most fun-to-visit cities on this list.
Maastricht is great! There, you’ll meet the friendliest people, great architecture and culture, fine cuisine,... Also, if you’re there, consider taking a 30min-train to another hidden gem, Liége! The largest Francophone city in Belgium (if you don’t count Brussels that is officially bilingual), that used to be very industrialized, but is getting more and more modern and cultural! And, to me, the friendliest and most down-to-earth city in Belgium! 😁
Liège is indeed lovely. I like it more than Maastricht. I'd also try to bring Thorn (north of Maastricht) and Durbuy (south of Liège) in your schedule. The roads from Durbuy - Liège - Maastricht -Thorn are mostly downhill and downstream, so great for lazy cyclists ;)
As someone from Bruges that studies in Ghent, I can confirm that Ghent is underrated. No matter how much I love my home town, especially off-season, there is no denying that Ghent is more lively and vibrant, while also having a lot historical sights, art and architecture. To any potential tourists I can only recommend this: if you plan to visit Belgium in high season, stay in Ghent to avoid the overly touristy, almost theme park feeling of Bruges. There is plenty to do and see in Ghent, and if you want you can easily visit Bruges by train, its only a 25 minute ride. If you want to stay in Bruges, try to come during off-season. Also, don't remain strictly in the center of the city! There is plenty to see all around the city, and it's well worth to hire a bike for easy transportation. If you stay for a couple of days I would even recommend to get out of the city and explore the countryside by bike! There are lovely rustic villages like Damme (the old port town of Bruges) and Oostkerke, canals, and more. Especially Damme is worth a look, as you can climb the old Church tower, from where you have an amazing view of the landscape and the city of Bruges from a distance. Keep in mind the tower is off limits during the winter months though.

I would say Torino and Genova are the two most underrated cities in Italy, and they are both stunning: Torino was the first capital of Italy (and previously the capital of the Piedmont Kngdom) and it's packed with splendid royal buildings surrounded by the alps. Genova was the capital of the Republic of Genoa, and it boasts the biggest medieval centre in the world, filled with beautiful baroque noble palaces.
A city that should be on the list and very much plays second fiddle to the capital (Dublin) is Cork! 2nd biggest city of Republic of Ireland and 3rd biggest city on the island of Ireland. A charming, historic, yet increasingly modern city with some of the best food options in the whole of Ireland Also Drogheda...if you don’t want to venture too far from Dublin, but want a financially cheaper experience.
Don't forget Limerick Limerick hasn't got the best of pasts but nowadays it's a lovely city with friendly people modern buildings and it's relatively cheap it's also not far from the Clare coast Which in my opinion has some of the best beaches in the world
I studied in Maastricht and it’s definitely worth to visit! Also look at the way how they use their churches (a bookstore, a gym, even a club - all of these in the churches)
@@Elsamuu-p8c i like it more than gent:). Vibrant, there's always something to do and tourists (even belgians) don't know the hidden gems of the city. Neighbourhoods like woluwe(s) watermael and ixelles are pure gems, with great architecture and a lot of green!
Nearly everyone would agree with you I think! I’m Belgian, and it’s definitely one of my favorite cities in the country! If you’d rather visit a French speaking city in Belgium though, consider Liège! A hidden gem of Europe! It’s, arguably, not as picturesque as Bruges or Ghent, but there is a little something about Liège that makes it worth visiting! And the friendliest city in Belgium, I believe!
First-time visitors to Belgium tend to stay in Brussels and tire themselves taking trains to Bruges, Gent, Antwerp and Mechelen every day to see the sights they thought were in the capital. ;) Second-time visitors usually choose Gent as a base, since it's closer to the other historic towns. Or Antwerp, if they want to be somewhere hip.
@Josip That's just because you watched too many movies recycling the same stereotype. There's nothing spooky or grim about these places, just the opposite! Places like Ghent and Leuven are lively student towns with beautiful medieval centres
Josip have u ever been to one? I can understand you saying that if you’ve only seen them on screens but Dutch cities are one of the most lively and fun places in europe, they’re great to shop in, party and the streets are covered in lots of very old bars and cafes.

In The NL, I've been to Volendam, Zaanse, Zandvoort, Delft, Utrecht, and Haarlem, all underrated must see Dutch cities.
BASEL is really charming ! She forgot to say that Basel has been one of the most important centers of European culture during the Renaissance. There were influential councils, writers, humanists and of course the city had an essential rôle in the history of European press.
for the people that want to go to the netherlands you should also check Utrecht what is a beautiful city it is like 20 or 30 minutes (By train) away from Amsterdam
Hipster Pug I'm amazed they didn't say Rotterdam, to be honest. The city has been on many lists as the place to visit outside of Amsterdam. It's also host to the Eurovision Song Contest in 2021 (ESC 2020 was cancelled for obvious reasons).
For my money, Aachen, Germany should have been way up on this list. Great restaurants, awesome night life, an incredibly ancient city with an unbelievable history. Honestly, there are few cities in Europe more underrated by tourists than Aachen.

Serbia was victim of propaganda in 90s, and picture portrayed in western media has nothing to do with reality, people here are very welcoming towards foreigners and just live normal life as everyone else.
Valencia, Spain is another incredible destination. I spent a month there and was never overwhelmed with the amount of people. I went to Barcelona for a weekend while I was there and was not impressed
@@danielr5021 yes Valencia is known but it isn't nearly as crowded as Barcelona. I felt a much more genuine European experience when I was in valencia vs Barcelona. And the food in Valencia was ten times better.
Gdańsk is nice, but very overpriced compared to prices in rest of Poland and also except touristic center it needs more maintenance, Krakow or Wroclaw look much better as whole cities, not only tourist spots. Also Warwas surprised me, I expected grey communistic architecture, but it was actually very modern and nice city, even that communistic architecture looks good there. And ticket machines were always working there, but I can't say same thing about Gdaňsk, from 4 ticket machines in front of train station, only 1 was functional. :-D

I've been to Innsbruck both in the winter (skiing in nearby Igls where the 1976 Olympics a short hop to patcherkovel) and summer. Breathtaking
I love you Latvia beautiful and natural beautiful clean rich country Latvia 🇱🇻🇱🇻🇱🇻🇱🇻🇱🇻🇱🇻
not so rich
@@justasstakionis2183 no bro rich country Latvia
im just pissed Vilnius wasn’t here; Latvia is cool though
Tallinn, Estonia 🇪🇪 is a magical city and also Porto, Portugal 🇵🇹
Can't believe that Vestmannaeyjar in Iceland isn't mentioned. The best place for introverts to find eternal peace and tranquility ❤
Wow, you know your stuff sir, i find the island really magic
Better not to mention then. Otherwise it turns into a place for extraverts.
Very nice places and beautiful scenery.
Your video is so interesting and impressive.
I've been Ronda a few years ago.
Full view and Big like 416
I wish you have a happy week...👍👍
Belgrade is really awesome city and will be even better.
Stay tuned. 😉
Josip truly the amount of effort it takes to be unbiased like this guy these days.
I would say Torino and Genova are the two most underrated cities in Italy, and they are both stunning: Torino was the first capital of Italy (and previously the capital of the Piedmont Kngdom) and it's packed with splendid royal buildings surrounded by the alps. Genova was the capital of the Republic of Genoa, and it boasts the biggest medieval centre in the world, filled with beautiful baroque noble palaces.
also Jajce or Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina 🇧🇦🔝
Would love to visit
A city that should be on the list and very much plays second fiddle to the capital (Dublin) is Cork! 2nd biggest city of Republic of Ireland and 3rd biggest city on the island of Ireland.
A charming, historic, yet increasingly modern city with some of the best food options in the whole of Ireland
Also Drogheda...if you don’t want to venture too far from Dublin, but want a financially cheaper experience.
Don't forget Limerick
Limerick hasn't got the best of pasts but nowadays it's a lovely city with friendly people modern buildings and it's relatively cheap it's also not far from the Clare coast Which in my opinion has some of the best beaches in the world
I love you Netherlands beautiful and natural beautiful clean rich country Netherlands 🇳🇱🇳🇱🇳🇱🇳🇱🇳🇱🇳🇱 mojo travel
Yes, I was in Amsterdam and surprised how clean city is. Because usually touristed cities are very polluted, like Paris, Rome, Brussels
I studied in Maastricht and it’s definitely worth to visit! Also look at the way how they use their churches (a bookstore, a gym, even a club - all of these in the churches)
Gent is one of the best cities I've been in.
Sijo Simon Just stayed there around Christmas of 2019. It’s magical! My family liked it more than Bruges and Brussels.
@@chase138 It's easy to like something more than Brussels tbh😅
First-time visitors to Belgium tend to stay in Brussels and tire themselves taking trains to Bruges, Gent, Antwerp and Mechelen every day to see the sights they thought were in the capital. ;)
Second-time visitors usually choose Gent as a base, since it's closer to the other historic towns. Or Antwerp, if they want to be somewhere hip.
I love you Malta beautiful and natural beautiful clean rich country Malta 🇲🇹🇲🇹🇲🇹🇲🇹🇲🇹🇲🇹 mojo travel
every old city in the netherlands and belgium is gorgeous, like delft-leiden-the hague-antwerp-arnhem-rhimes etc
@Josip That's just because you watched too many movies recycling the same stereotype. There's nothing spooky or grim about these places, just the opposite! Places like Ghent and Leuven are lively student towns with beautiful medieval centres
Oooh Antwerp and Delft 😍
Also Dinant is quite beautiful, maybe for a day-only visit
Josip have u ever been to one? I can understand you saying that if you’ve only seen them on screens but Dutch cities are one of the most lively and fun places in europe, they’re great to shop in, party and the streets are covered in lots of very old bars and cafes.
Josip you haven’t seen the right pictures, the buildings are very beautiful and warm in real life, they give this kind of structural and whimsy safety
@Josip im only basing my opinion about u on what i see on here; and i dont claim to know anything about u, but u seem dumb
Luzern/Lucerne Switzerland is always worth a travel to
I wouldn't call Basel or Belgrade underrated. But it is an interesting video😁 Love from Hungary❤
From this list i went to Lille, Maasticht, Valletta Ghent and planning to go to Riga, all cities are so beautifull, can recomend
So disappointed not to see any of Poland here, let me suggest a few places that are underrated Gdańsk, Wrocław, Poznań - and Kraków but Kraków isn’t overrated it’s quite popular. Please visit Poland, you’re all welcome (:
And great value for money as well.
I'm impressed. She did quite a good job pronouncing the names of those cities.
Krakow is a cool one too
Pretty popular, there are always a lot of tourists
Happy to see Latvia on this list. Eastern Europe in general I feel is so underrated.if it wasn’t for COVID-19 I would be doing a 3month 20 countriy tour from central to East Europe and finish’s in Central Asia 😓
Latvia is actually Northern Europe lol
I love you Austria beautiful and natural beautiful clean rich country Austria 🇦🇹🇦🇹🇦🇹🇦🇹🇦🇹🇦🇹 mojo travel
Have to agree with the #2 pick. Valletta is such a gorgeous city
5:29 it is called Innsbru'ck' not Innsbruch, and the first picture that was shown was a picture of the Swarovski Kristallwelten which aren't in Innsbruck :D
Zaragoza, Spain. 3rd largest city in Spain and nobody ever mentions it or goes there. It is amazing with everything from ancient Roman ruins to a Moorish palace, to a baroque and gothic church. In The NL, I've been to Volendam, Zaanse, Zandvoort, Delft, Utrecht, and Haarlem, all underrated must see Dutch cities.
Lithuania,Vilnius never gets a mention, it's one of Europe's most beautiful country
Santander / Gijón / Bilbao in Spain is soo underrated
Can’t wait to go around Europe in September and spend 4 months ☺️
BASEL is really charming ! She forgot to say that Basel has been one of the most important centers of European culture during the Renaissance. There were influential councils, writers, humanists and of course the city had an essential rôle in the history of European press.
for the people that want to go to the netherlands you should also check Utrecht what is a beautiful city it is like 20 or 30 minutes
(By train) away from Amsterdam
Hipster Pug agreed! I thought they would put Utrecht rather than Maastricht, but both are nice still.
Hipster Pug I'm amazed they didn't say Rotterdam, to be honest. The city has been on many lists as the place to visit outside of Amsterdam. It's also host to the Eurovision Song Contest in 2021 (ESC 2020 was cancelled for obvious reasons).
@@emeraldsroses0524 yeah true Rotterdam is also worth to check out
Utrecht is nice but Maastricht has more magic. It is so clean and chic!
For my money, Aachen, Germany should have been way up on this list. Great restaurants, awesome night life, an incredibly ancient city with an unbelievable history. Honestly, there are few cities in Europe more underrated by tourists than Aachen.
Tbilisi is the most underrated city of Eastern Europe and safe
Now it’s Asia.
@Hello since king Pharnavaz 200 years BC, when country was formed))
VISBY! An big medieval city with many ruins, a 3,4 km long medieval city wall and the whole city is an world heritage site!
Vaduz, Liechtenstein..🇱🇮😁 Hope you could feature the country soon on your next videos. 😍
Great video. I definitely want to see a few of these esp Riga, Basel, and Innsbruck
An underrated Italian city: Genoa
It's really uggly, sorry
@Daniel Bally i go there every week, i live near to Genoa
Yes! Was there 6 times, love!!!!
Also Imperia 😁
And its beautiful 1970 seafront highway
the translation of Maastricht said Mosque lift.
I live near Maastricht and i have to admit it is really beautiful. You can also visit caves there.
Great job with the pronunciation of all the cities from a variety of languages!
@Bogdan Tereshkevich Yes, the pronounciations also annoyed the hell out of me.
At least she tried
Its really hard to get some pronounciations good, like the G in Maastricht
@Bogdan Tereshkevich His pronunciation in Spanish was good
We shouldn't forget about Ljubjlana, of course! Such a wonderful and quiet city, it's magical
Nijmegen in the Netherlands is also underrated
Zo laat stedennetwerk ANKE op tafel zetten:
Arnhem, Nijmegen, Kleve, Emmerich
Thank you for providing such a visually stunning, informative video with coherent, well-presented commentary. The pronunciation of the foreign names impressed me! Goed gedaan! Sensationnel! Ausgezeichnet!
I go to the Europe and Serbia next summer 2021 mojo travel
I hope you will have a good time here in Serbia, first of all it is very safe so don't worry about that. Serbia was victim of propaganda in 90s, and picture portrayed in western media has nothing to do with reality, people here are very welcoming towards foreigners and just live normal life as everyone else.
Why are there so many serbian propaganda channels on youtube.
@@gustavspuke6463 It's no propaganda just reality
carick235 bullshit
Valencia, Spain is another incredible destination. I spent a month there and was never overwhelmed with the amount of people. I went to Barcelona for a weekend while I was there and was not impressed
I don't agree at all. Valencia is super known, and Barcelona is a whole museum
@@danielr5021 yes Valencia is known but it isn't nearly as crowded as Barcelona. I felt a much more genuine European experience when I was in valencia vs Barcelona. And the food in Valencia was ten times better.
What about Gdansk, Poland??? You forgot to include that one!
@@Pidalin I agree Breslau and Krakow deserve recognition (tho Krakow is far from underrated). My fav Polish city by a long shot is good ol' gothic Kalisz.
@@aniinnrchoque1861 what's Breslau?
Yes
@@mirthy8219 there isn't Breslau, it's Wroclaw
Parma in Italy is very nice too -and Mantua. Then there is Cuneo in Piemonte as well -close to the French border.
Sintra, Portugal. In my opinion, the most underrated place I’ve visited in Europe.
I planned to Go in a trip i organized for my family to Lisboa. Finally i had to cancel It. Shame
Excellent pronunciation of the foreign names and beautiful English commentary
