Damn, my boy Bobby's got some pipes on him! Just started drinking gin recently and was really inspired by your Bombay Sapphire videos (that's the only gin I ever tasted... cause it's everywhere) and you and I have very similar taste. So I tried Tanqueray, and now I'm a believer! Love your channel Bobby, keep up the great work!
You should try Norwegian gin, if there are any available in the UK. I recommend Harahorn Gin, Bivrost Gin and Lyng Norwegian Botanical Gin. Love the videos man
Greetings from an American living in Germany 👋🏻 I have only recently discovered the joys of gin and tonic and am so thrilled to have stumbled upon your channel! ….and thrilled that I didn‘t start my journey with Bombay Sapphire or Gordon‘s or I mightn‘t have travelled any farther 😉. I started with Isle of Harris and fell in love 😍! I have a different italien suggestion for you…Acqueverdi Gin. It is a mountain distillery using local botanicals and it comes in a big 1 liter dumpy bottle with a rustic looking label. Cheers and keep up the good work!
I was enjoying a Hayman's London Dry Gin Martini as I was watching this video. Spectacular gin! Stellar performance as usual, Bobby! Very entertaining. Thank you!
Would you please do a video: how to mix an Enzoni? I really enjoy drinking a tasty Enzoni from time to time. In fact it's my favourite Gin cocktail. :)
Have you tried ungava? It's a yellow gin made from botanicals from northern quebec. It's fantastic! I recommend trying it in a gin and tonic with a slice or twist of grapefruit.
Bobby you said the French G'Vine was really unique since it' made from grapes, which is true, but the Spanish Nordés which you reviewed right before is madre from grapes too. Also, among the botanicals included in Nordés there's a variety of seaweed called salicornia which definitely contributes to that very particular oceanic quality you noticed.
Swede here, if you're able to get your hand on it i would love to see you try out Gibsons Exception as it's recently become one of my favorites for a GnT (i prefer feevertree mediterranean with it but indian is also excellent)
Great idea for a review Bobby! Hugely entertaining as always! I have only tried a few of the gins featured, but have been hugely impressed wth Malfy gin rosa, so have ordered the con arancia and con limon now as well! No Irish gin on show today! I am sorry to report huge disappointment with Beefeater 24, but thats another story, for tea-infused gin, look no further than Drumshanbo, in my humble opinion! Cheers Andy
Hey Bobby! Would you recommend getting Lidl's hampstead gin instead of a more well-known brand such as tanqueray or Beefeater? I'm a bartender and I'm looking for home-cocktail bases. I make youtube content about it too! I thank you for your answer in advance!
There are some pretty nice gins from Brazil, we have some specials botanicals down here!! Amazzoni is a good one, if you could purchase it. By the way, congrats on the Channel, very nice!
I really want to get a hold of Brooklyn Gin. I love a massive hit of Juniper as well as other botanicals and it sounds fabulous!! I am in British Columbia and I have been to the Empress 1908 Distillery and it's a fabulous experience. If you are ever in BC head over to Vancouver Island to gorgeous Victoria and check out the distillery. The beautiful Victoria hotel, The Empress, has this gin as their house Gin and their 1908 house cocktail is spectacular!! Check it our if you find travel to Vancouver and Vancouver Island!! The Indian Gin featured sounds wonderful and I have been told that Hapusa Gin from India is fabulous!! Cheers Bobby!! 🙂
Isn't No 3 from Holland? Not trying to troll but after you talked about it I looked to see If I could get it in Alberta Canada and I can but they list it as Dutch. Thanks
Actually Keith yes you’re right. I made this mistake a couple of times. It’s was conceived by an English guy but he has it made in Holland. Thanks for pulling me up in the facts! 👍😊
Hi Sensible driver Yes you’re right it is produced in Holland but it was created and conceived by n England by and Englishman so I do take your point but I like to claim this as our own! 😊😊
n3, juniper green and tankeray are my favs. n3 suits better with swepes at my opinion, mixing it with fever tree makes the cardamom stands out a lot. And tankeray maybe is better with fever tree.
That was interesting, I disagree on a few (England - Conker, but I'm biased. Australia - Four Pillars Bloody Shiraz. Spain - Gin Mare. Scotland - Glasweigin or Hendricks Lunar because it has less cucumber). But a few of the others are heading to my already overcrowded gin cupboard.......
Slightly confused, the London 3 label states 'Made in Holland? No complaint, love this gin. Was there a London takeover?...or do I have a old bottle. Thanks for the reviews, gold.
You forgot The Netherlands where gin originated from. Called: ‘Genever’. You have old styled genever using malt instead of neutral grain spirit the young style uses less malt so gin is more like the young version. You should try it. Some Dutch companies also make next to genever also gin. Like ‘Bobbys Gin’
Fantastic video! Do you think you could put a list of the gins in the description? Also, I'm not sure if you meant it as a joke, but which country in Africa did the elephant gin come from? Anyway, thanks for the overview!
Lidl's Hortus gin has I believe 2-3 flavoured gins now? I know they have a pink one, an orange one and a violet one at least, would love to hear your thoughts on them :

I’m a bit disappointed that you did not include german gins. They have one of the most sold gin in the world monkeys 47 and it’s still made by hand. Also there is a really wide variety of different Gins wich are all pretty delicious. I can hardly recommend friedrichs gin from near Frankfurt!

Gooday Bob. I bought that number 3 Gin. It's distilled in Holland. Surely an English Gin must be made in England, just like Scotch is made up north.
