You always make everything look so good because you take the time to put the finishing piece of molding and it make all the difference in the finished work looks super.
uber new subscriber, interested in the stuff y'all are doing, but commenting to say I greatly enjoy the energy in the intro to what is going on. Best of luck to y'all!
You all are inspirational. I've got a similar project going and you've given me so many ideas. From my family to yours, keep up the admirable work. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and beautiful family collaberation.
This look so beautiful Bree. Bry is a lucky man. What kind of garden will you guys be making for the summer? Tell your big Bro to go on camera more. I am starting to miss him. LOl!!
+May Devone Hugelkultur's around the base of the trees with herbs, tomato, berries & some self-watering containers fed from the rain water barrels - we still have strawberries, blackberries growing and we will probably grow sweet potatoes in one. Thanks for you comments! Garen will be back soon!
I'm smiling, as I enjoy watching a solid family communicate in such a healthy, constructive manner. As the product of a dysfunctional family, I can attest to the utter beauty of such harmony and cooperation on display here. No bickering, no power struggles, no belittling, no disrespect, no unlove. Though I wish I had lived this firsthand myself, I can at least say that the sheer contrast is not lost on me, and seeing this video is a stark reminder of the existence of healthy human relations. It is possible, it is achievable. And for that, I wish to thank you for sharing your family. You can't imagine how inspiring it can be, for a person like myself. :) Thank you, and please continue sharing your love. :)
Great builds I love how all the family's hands on brings you all closer together.... seams like a lot of dead space right at back of that stair cupboard .. could you not put some pull out draws on the side to make the space it more accessible
You guys are awesome. A riot and a laugh a minute, LOL. A really beautiful build. I thought the stairs were going to work as is, it would have been nice. But I guess he did need a closet anyway. After the room is done, what's up next?
Wear a mask when you sand & cut! Don’t stress your respiratory system, especially now there’s a pandemic on. Love your vids! Live long and keep making ‘em!
I love your videos and your family. I wish everybody could have a family like that. Happy Holidays to you guys and keep up the good work. You are really inspiring this old lady. Think I could do it alone?
+mike mollman He's been working at his daytime job, working on cars and on his youtube channel (mroffandon). He will be back to install the solar for Bryson's room in a couple weeks or so. Thanks for asking :)
+mylittlehomestead I am pretty sure +Thias Russell means a Z pattern on the door itself to prevent the door from sagging down to the floor. The answer would be that the boards were glued together in the tongue and groove - so they simply can't move; so I don't seeing that being a problem in the future. Besides; it matches the main door with this design.
My absolute favorite family on youtube !
Much love to ya'll
Wulfy
Thanks for that little bit about cantilever at the end Gary!

That is awesome! Gorgeous wood! I love cedar.

Looking good. The only other thing you might have done would be to add drawers under the steps to make use of the space

Really for real ? Or are you just flappin yer gums? Another well produced, informative and entertaining video, thanks gang!
Looks great! Do you plan to put a hand rail on the stair?
+Elizabeth Robinette Eventually but not this time around. Bryson is going to have to keep his balance :)
I'm not half as talented as your family. I guess I have some practicing to do!
Great video.
Is there any reason for not installing a cross beam on the door so it will not sack down over time ???
Regards
+Thias Russell The area over the door is not load bearing. Good observation :)

+wildonemeister That was what I meant thx.
Are you sure you're going to install the ceiling?
I was thinking you could have put drawers into the stairs, so you have more storage space.
Why'd you put a block behind the door knob? Why not a third cross piece?
For really though?
I would have done drawers in the lower steps, but that's just me.
+Bradon Cohorn Yes! Good idea - we were contemplating it but skipped it due to time :)
+mylittlehomestead, Bob Villa probably had to make tough decisions like that as well. Keep up the good work.
No drawers under the stairs?
Closet
do you guys ever get jealous of each other's rooms?
+ThisNarrowboatAdventure I know I'm jealous of this room! Lol! But I love all the rooms so far! Each has it's own unique and specific feel to it! :)
