This video is four years old. I just found it. Alpa, you have made my life so much easier!. I spent the day looking at gadgets and none of them work like your method. I am really just amazed. I live in corn country and can buy fresh corn from a farm and will make many visits for fresh corn and peeling corn for freezing for the rest of the year. Alpa, thank you from the bottom of my heart for this video!

This is the most brilliant way to remove the kernel, using a knife in other videos looks very dangerous to me and alot leftovers on the cob. This is the cleanest and can get most out from the corn. Love it love it this brilliant lady.

So much less waste than the way I've been doing it. I've got 4 dozen ears of corn from which to remove kernels before canning them. I usually have a lot of waste from the "cutting off" process. This will be a great help. Thank you!

OH.MY.GOODNESS!!! I am freakin out just a teeny bit. LoL I love fresh uncooked corn on my salads so it's fair to say that I have shucked & "dekernelled" many a corn cob. I can't believe how much corn & time I've lost simply because I didn't think to search for how to's. Wow! Just wow! Thank you so much, Ms. Alpa, for the time, effort & attention you took in making this video. You are a blessing!

Your video made me feel like a complete fool, but it certainly helped. 9/10. I didn't make a recipe, I accidentally overplanted my corn. I tripped and dumped a whole cup of germinated corn in my garden and said "oh well" and buried it thinking some would die and so.e would crowd out.... they did not.... so now I'm using your method to can and freeze my corn. Thanks for the vid!!!
