- In this video we will be reviewing the Deathbringer Exotic Rocket Launcher for use in both the PvP and PvE environments of Destiny 2. We will take a look at stats, damage numbers, how to get the weapon, as well as analyzing the performance of Deathbringer in the the core activities of Destiny 2.

Absolutely! While it's not an "elite" damage dealer, It sure can hold is own if all 7 orbs land on a single target!! 👍👍

Honestly you deserve way more subscribers. Your videos are incredibly in depth and easy to understand, and I definitely think you should branch out to pve too, which is a sure fire way to get more subs. Keep up the great work.
Thank you very much for the kind words and support!! I would like to branch out a little more into PvE. PvP definitely is the side of the game that I am a little bit more knowledgeable about, but I really enjoyed the weapon testing process in the PvE environment. This video as more or less an experiment, but I'm reasonably happy with how it turned out, and I'll try to do more like it in the future!! 👍👍
0:15 I miss that strike man. I remember using Nameless Midnight, Uriels Gift, Mananaan, Origin Story, Better Devils, Merciless, and Wardcliff Coil in Year 1 there.

Great video! I didn't know it was travel time and not fall distance. I've been killed by DB in Crucible before... You're right it will catch you off-guard!

I remembered Holtzmans review on Deathbringer and him saying it was the air time not the drop distance on the orbs that effected damage, but of course I had to take it upon myself to confirm that. I spent a good half hour shooting that ogre and then watching the footage back in slow-mo to figure out what was actually going on with the orbs. 🤣👍

Bruh....I want that ornament, I didn't even know it existed. This is actually a really good weapon. I occasionally pull it out and remember how strong it can be when used correctly but for some reason always vault it again and forget it exists for 2 months. Keep up the great work dude, your killing it!
Thanks a lot man, and it is a nice looking ornament!! It was for sale for dust a little while back. I'll keep an eye out for it when it comes back around. I think I vaulted my Deathbringer about a week after I got it back in Shadowkeep and haven't touched it until this review. I never really gave it much of a chance, but you're right, how well it performs in generally really surprised me! 👍👍

I really haven't used Deathbringer a whole lot. I dabbled with it when I first got it last Fall, but that was about the extent of it! Definitely a weapon you need to get a feel for, but I can certainly see why you like it!! 👍👍
@@IronworkerGaming definitely need to be one with the weapon haha but once you get the hang of it you can get some amazing multi kills. I've had a few Gambit team wipes and I think 5 Crucible kills from one shot.

Just got this today while waiting for trick or treaters (who didn't come sadly, probably because of the COVID) - have to get used to this one (holding the trigger down before releasing it and all that)
Nice!! It's a really cool rocket launcher, but it definitely does take some getting used to!! Bummer that you didn't get any trick or treaters this year! We had a few around the neighborhood, but certainly not as many in years past. Kinda sad to see.....but at least you snagged your Deathbringer!! 🍻👍
You made a pve weapon review. Noice 🔥. But deathbringers max per shot damage should be the standard for normal legendary rocket launchers to be honest so that they can be viable.
Good point. I don't see how increasing rocket launchers damage out put could do anything but help out the general PvE sandbox!! 👍👍
@@IronworkerGaming yeah that's true. And i cannot wait for the pve reviews you bring in, its fun to see those. And raid bosses need to be active and have like a layer of armor that only heavy weapons and supers can damage them and also they should actually move and react and attack even while damaging them. I have a long and never ending list to improve raids and endgame pve activities in general, just cannot fit all of them in one comment😂😂
Good point. Nearly all raid bosses are pretty stagnant. I would like to see Bungie mix things up a little bit!

Agreed! A little more damage would go a long way, but it is an extremely versatile rocket launcher!! 👍👍
honestly I've been running it in pve since shadowkeep and with the right strats I'd put it at A+ tier simply because it is a rocket launcher and they kinda suck rn
@@dylanferguson7773 It's definitely a weapon whos strength lies in the manner in which it is used!! I really like the philosophy that Bungie is taking with the more recently introduced exotics where they're asking the player be more creative with how they use each weapon!! 👍👍
@@IronworkerGaming yup, i think exotics shouldn't just be a better version of normal guns, rather that they should allow you to try new things that you wouldn't normally be able to.

This is a good idea for power weapons
I didn't really give it enough credit until doing this weapon review!! It does lack a little bit in the damage department, but the utility of the weapon is much appreciated!! 👍👍
I think a verdict for where a weapon is best used is also a good for helping new players like Cerberus us a monster at ad clears and it's alternate due mode can drop champions fast as well so long as it's not a barrier champion

Heavy ammo scavengers guarantees 2 shots in crucible. I sometimes even get 3 . that's another surprise for the enemy
I fell pretty silly for not equipping a heavy scavenger mod!! 🤣 That would have moved the review process along a little more fluidly!! 👍👍

Did you know you could increase DPS of this weapon by reloading right after shooting the target.
if you do it right you could get 45,000dps
I did not. Are you talking about firing off multiple shots before the orbs make contact with the target?
@@IronworkerGaming nah, before detonating the orb you shot(aka releasing the mouse 1 button)you spam reload.
That plus rally baricade makes it ultra fast fire mode.

I've heard Deathbringer can kill a Titan in his bubble if you jump in there and shoot the ground. Not really sure.

That would be an interesting experiment! I didn't even think to see if you could take self-damage from Deathbringer! I'll probably try to sprinkle in a little more PvE content here and there. The bulk of my knowledge lies in the Crucible, but I did really enjoy testing Deathbringer in the PvE environment! 👍👍
