Amazing, thank you! I've been looking for something like this for awhile. I'm new to programming so I'm out of my comfort zone. This is amazing! Also you're great at explaining things.
Good evening from Greece! i was looking exactly the same project to do on my chicken coop as well, unfortunately i know nothing about programming and my best chance was to find exactly the same thing. Thankfully i found it in your video. Not knowing anything about programming as i mentioned above, is there any chance you could send me the code and the schematic, adding 2 limit switches to stop the doors when opening/closing at a certain point, because with no limit switches, it either closes to much/crushing the wood, or it stays a bit open all the time in my project...Thank you so much in advance!!!

also i suggest add auto stop for safety if they are stuck it will open and alarm
Well yeah auto stop could be a nice feature, but I believe that chickens are smart enough to not get crushed by that slow actuator : )
i like the way you made the metal brackets.

When I want to use extra buttons where should I plug the wires? And do I need to change something in Arduino sketch or program?
