Bomberman GB, is acutally Bomberman GB 2 and it's all the result of a misunderstanding. The true Bomberman GB is the original Japanese version of Wario Blast. When Bomberman GB was localized, Nintendo decided to make a crossover putting Wario in the game. In 1995 Bomberman GB 2 came out in Japan and 3 years later, the game came out in the US and in Europe. Since Bomberman GB was localized in Wario Blast, they decided to remove the number and calling it Simply "Bomberman GB".
