Forgot to mention the fun little fact that it literally hurts every time Wolverine whips his claws out since they are literally tearing through his flesh. Since the holes heal, they'll hurt again the next time he whips them out. The worse part is, the rare times his healing factor is disabled, it hurts even worse and obviously the pain linger longer since the holes aren't healing up as instantly as they normally would.
"Why does Wolverine attract women?" He's a bad boy with a soft heart deep down, is a wild animal in the sack 😅, has a tragic backstory, forgin, shiny claws, muscular, and in the movies he's played by Hugh Jackman.
Initially when his adamantium was ripped out by Magneto the massive trauma blew out his healing factor, his healing factor could not keep up and it burnt out for some time afterwards, he healed like a normal human. Nobody knew at the time that the adamantium poisoning hindered his healing factor and stopped his mutation from further evolving. It was when Genesis attempted to rebond adamantium to his skeleton again that his body rejected the adamantium and literally shot the adamantium from his pores that resulted in a literal explosion. The re-bonding process reignited his healing factor and mutation and it went into overdrive and evolved his mutation as it would have naturally if he never received the adamantium in the first place. Everything about his mutation was amplified and he could heal faster than anyone else. Wounds couldn't be seen on him, example would be a slice wound would heal as fast as the wound was created, somewhat instantly. I loved that version of Wolverine, but they ended it.
In the movies, the only reason adamantium poisoning was killing Wolverine, was because there was some sort of mutant suppressant drug in the food, in the US or world, it was turning off his healing factor.
In the comics, his healing powers are constantly fighting the poisonous adamantium, which is why his body went into overdrive when it was removed. His healing factor could finally run at 100%. The poison from adamantium was also why Wolverine was one of the only ones it worked on.
Yeah and wasn't there also like a whole virus that was killing off mutants? I think some of the comics showed that and hell I think it made a shadow appearance in the Logan movie
In the comics, after Wolverine had the adamantium ripped out his healing factor went into overdrive. When it didnt have to deal with the invasive metal anymore, it showed the true power of his healing abilities. The X-men anime actually shows wolverine's berserker rage really well.

@@prew_gaming Yea I just kinda the movie was done that way to give Hugh Jackman a good walking off point. He has said publicly that he couldn't do it anymore and keeping the Wolverine physique was too taxing on him. Id rather they just gotten a different actor if he wanted to close that part of his career. He gave it a good run.
Wolverine and Peter Parker can never catch a break. They always have something horrible happening to them. For James howlet it's his entire life of struggling. For Peter Parker it's the parker luck.
That's one of the downsides of being a healing factor character. If you know they can recover from almost anything, the writer has the ability to really put him through the ringer. That's why you'll always see Wolverine and similar characters either riddled with bullets or stabbed all over the place (Deadpool even gets limbs chopped off) but that sort of thing rarely happens to characters like say, Spider-Man cause they'd obviously die.
@@marksunboxingzone Like the time the-Men had to break into Forge's penthouse while the security system was berserk? Logan insisted on WALKING, not running, through laser fire 'cause "He had the best chance of surviving" instead of letting the near invulnerable Rogue borrow his healing power. Yep, I like the character but writers really do tend to boost him up too much.
Scientifically, his pheromones like all of his abilities are also increased. And they are supposed to attract women. The reaction is supposed to be similar to aphrodisiacs that are supposed to increase the mood towards the act.
In House of M, we find out that without his healing factor, Wolverine's body wouldn't be able to adapt to his adamantium infusion (because it is considered foreign substance) and he would die quickly and painfully. I just find it amazing that, though written in so long after Logan's introduction, Marvel managed to find and sneak in tiny interesting logic like this to enrich its characters.
In the Wolverine comics it's suggested that Adamantium was actually a weapon of the gods, sent to Earth to help Humans fight demonic enemies. There's even the mention that the metal enhanced his healing factors to divine levels, at one point taking on an enemy so abhorrent that the Celestials had to come down and kill it. He resisted a literally cosmic disease which threatened the space gods.
i think a huge part for being everyones favorite, is that of course he is cool AF, but also, on a deeper note, he is one of those mutants who is very powerful BUT also believable; Like you can imagine there is someone out there that for real has ultra fast healing abilities because we all humans already possess some of it. On the contrary to other xmen, that although are cool, are simply to unbelievable like magneto, storm, etc.
In the movie Logan the adamantium only killed him because the X-Gene suppressing chemical that was added to most food and drink suppressed his healing abilities and allowed for the adamantium poisoning to take place. Otherwise he would have lived for much much longer.
@@slewone4905 With a healing factor, Age literally cannot catch you because age isnt an illness, its just an accumulation of body defects over time, defects that will never happen because of the healing factor. Wolverine is functionally immortal
Exactly. The only reason they made the whole poisoning thing his death cause Hugh wanted out so the wrote him out . His healing factor is not like anyother it heals and learns and after a while things that are deadly to him doesn't affect him anymore. In one one of the comics he became a vampire as he was bitten. But after a while he regained back to his normal self as his body fought it . Same thing with the admantium poisoning in the future. When x23 is older and their are multiple similar mutants like x23
The bone claws weren't "revealed", they were blatantly retconned in. Prior to that, it was confirmed canon fact that the claws were mechanical implants that had been added to him at the same time as the adamantium bonding process. There even were schematics for them in old reference material like the Official Handbook.
The original concept for Wolverine's claws was that they were actually weapons that strapped onto his wrists. But that part never actually made it to final print.
When Wolverine killed Jean Grey (in the movie), she wanted him to do it. She was aware of her powerlessness under the Dark Phoenix persona and wanted an out. Logan acquiesced to her desire to be rid of it and both were aware that killing her was the only way. Logan loved Jean and this was a painful thing to do, but ultimately the only way to "save" her. The pathos of that moral dilemma is the reason why that is my favorite scene out of them all in the X-Men movies.
That scene is utter trash. As if Phoenix would have any trouble removing Logan from the battle. She's a telekinetic. The writers obviously CHOSE to forget that, otherwise Phoenix would have tossed Logan into orbit with barely even a flick of the wrist. I'm fine with him not getting ripped apart molecularly, but she could still just fling him anywhere. in the world.
@@patrickcromwell7554 If that were a moment in history, you're right. But that is a scene in a movie, and everything in a work of art, like a movie, is subject to the will of the artist, in this case the writer. And the interpretation of the Director. Not even the laws of physics take precedence over them. They have the ability to ignore even the most fundamental laws of the universe if they need to. Or even if they just WANT to.
@@badbiker666 OR, or maybe....bare with me....Maybe it's just poor writing to make the character with the LEAST ability to affect a situation seem WAY more badass than he actually IS. HELL EFFING NO!! despite his abilities he's average on the whole. This mentality of just accepting he's the equal to EVERYONE is what causes Batman fanatics to believe Batman can actually DO ANYTHING to superman in an actual fight; where Clark is being serious and not just letting Bruce tire himself out. Stop clinging to Wolverine's penis like a crack head. He's good but NOT nearly to the level of this HYPE bullshit.
"Wolverine one of of the strongest in the universe" were do you get this? He's dangerous and resilient sure, but a powerhouse he is not, there's hundreds of more powerful characters in marvel comics. @@ynkybomber he's definitely Captain America level, i think cap has him slightly beat in strength and speed, they tie in stamina and fighting skills, but resilience goes to Wolverine by far. 17:07 In the movie Logan, Wolverine isn't suffering from adamantium poisoning. The food is laced with anti mutant chemicals. They spent a significant portion of the movie explaining this at the end.
They do say that the food supply was engineered to suppress mutant genes. So that’s why there weren’t any new mutant births outside of the experimental facility in n the movie. However, Logan was poisoned by his adamantium skeleton. Could the food have weakened his healing factor? Possibly, but it’s never expressed in the film.
@@dalordjuvinilej7770 it’s alluded to in the scene where Logan is helping the people that took him, X23 and prof X in for the night. The part where Logan is helping the man turn the water back on. It’s then confirmed when Logan meets the Dr with Donald Pierce and Logan says “I think I killed your dad.” Pierce says “hey mutie, show some respect. You’re talking to the man that ended your kind.” The Dr then goes on about suppressing the gene with the crops. Sorry for the long rant.
correction; the adamantium poisoning didn't "stop his healing".. Wolverine thoughout his timeline was shown drinking like a swamp... the anti-mutant drug was dumped in water and corn-syrup.. which is used to make several beverages and some food.. So unbeknowns to him, he has consumed inhuman amounts of the cure, and still had some mutant powers left.. that's what insane in that whole ordeal
The movie Logan made us think that Adamantium poisoning was killing him. Hell even he was convinced of it too. I mean it kinda was but it wasn’t the core issue. His healing factor was just simply fading away. That’s because whatever they were putting in the food in that timeline was killing off the X gene and mutants were going extinct by 2029. The X-gene killing substance in the food in turn was chipping away at his natural abilities i.e his healing factor so it was then that adamantium poisoning might be happening plus he began aging too.
Logan did not die from adamantium poisoning. He died because the anti mutant thing that was in all food and water which almost turned off his healing factor completely.
I've had that argument before with people . I thought Wolverine had the better healing factor over Sabre Tooth but people tell me Sabre Tooth actually has a better healing ability. The movies changed it so Wolverine is slightly better healing then Sabre Tooth. Deadpool has the best overall though which confuses me considering he supposedly got his healing ability from Wolverine. So it would make sense that it would be the same or less then Wolverines, not better. All these people keep changing the origins and abilities of these characters it's gotten to point of being impossible to keep up. I personally think Wolverine has or should have the best healing factor in the Marvel universe but what would I know. Apparently not much.
Deadpool only got his healing factor from Wolverines DNA in the films. He really got is as a curse from Thanos after Deadpool after Deadpool tried to make moves on Thanos's love, Lady Death (the manifestation of Death itself).
@@Thurgosh_OG if I remember right the healing factor he got from weapon x was based off Logan dna as well in the comics and the Cb cursed him with immortality so he could never be with death
The difference between healing with Sabertooth and Wolverine used to be that Sabertooth would heal but not quite as quickly as Wolverine however, Sabertooth could regrow limbs but Wolverine could not. Remember AoA Wolverine, with 1 hand... The other had been blasted off by Cyclops, which cost him a eye.
I feel the difference between Sabre and Wolvy, is that Creed loves his mutation, loves to kills, thrives on it. Wolvy is always suppressing his feral urges, looks at his gifts as curses. The mentality affects the body’s relationship with the healing factor
@@dbears1603 Yes, so his metal bones and claws mutate with him if he's mutated. For example when he got Mr Fantastic's powers in FF/X-Men, his adamantium claws stretched, or the future Phalanx Wolverine who had technoorganic shapeshifting claws.
Funfact : Wolverine's adamantium changed itself into a partly biological adamantium by time, which slowly grows back if for example his claws are cut Off.
I think they call it Adamantium Red? Yeah, which totally puts the lie to other stories like one of the future ones where he was stuck in a wheelchair after his legs were hit hard enough to bend the adamantium so he couldn't stand up or walk on them. Or the one where his hand was cut off and had a metal cap on the stump because he couldn't regenerate the limb because of the adamantium in it.

With the self-healing, he could hypothetically just lift heavy weights and eat food constantly for days at a time and put on an ungodly amount of muscle.
It’s hard to imagine the pain of the adamantium bonding process when you think about it. The needles that injected the adamantium were spinning so it literately drilled into his bones, and then he was injected with molten hot metal. It’s hard to imagine a more brutal form of torture
Don't forget wolverine is a high trained soldier who fought in several wars, also not sure what you mean, but wolverine killing isn't a downer for fans, infact it's what makes wolverine well wolverine, infact wolverine is one of the most beloved characters in marvel.
That episode with Nitro where he was reduced to a skeleton and healed from that was, IIRC, explained as him being under a special protection from the angel of death or some such. The conclusion was, yeah, he’s not gonna heal like that again.
That's not exactly correct. The fact is, every time Wolverine suffers damage that could be fatal(to him), he actually dies and his soul goes to Purgatory while his body rebuilds itself. There, he has to fight Azrael each and every time. If he defeats Azrael, he gets sent back to his body and gets to live. If he loses, he stays in Puragtory. This happens every time Wolverine gets a fatal wound. It wasn't a one off. This has been happening since World War 1, when Azrael was claiming souls on the battlefield and Logan snuck up and killed him. But they later renegotiated the deal so that Logan would die if he took fatal wounds again.
The natives did not give him his name, it was the mining camp leader who did. The guy who was his psuedo father figure who also introduced him to a japanese book on samurai
All of this I knew 🤝🏻 thank you for great narration though, now I'm going to cue up all the X-Men movies again (well, maybe not the last ones) but definitely the ones Hugh is in ☝🏻😌
WHAT I IMAGINE MIGHT BE DIFFERENT FOR A (WOLVERINE) WHO HAS VIBRANIUM: Now I imagine that the alternate version of Wolverine, who has Vibranium metal coated over his skeleton, and that particular type of metal is not harmful to his body, and to add I imagine he has an unbelievably amazing immune-system. The reason why is because I imagine it’s more compatible with bones, than that of the Adamantium metal. To add I imagine that it doesn’t interfere with the body’s blood flood process, and the other types of inner body working processes. I also imagine that LOGAN aka Wolverine he wears a Adamantium helmet, when fighting against extremely dangerous enemies. Plus to add I imagine that he has special types of extra weapons that are made out of Adamantium; Like that of knives, daggers, sometimes swords, and Adamantium metal gloves. Now I imagine WOLVERINE only uses these Adamantium metal weapons for certain occasions when it’s extremely serious. But when it comes to his Adamantium metal gloves; I imagine he uses them to enhance his claws when fighting, and I imagine his Adamantium metal gloves has an extra feature to them.
Wolverine should never have any kind of distinct external armor or weapons. Part of his appeal as a character is that he is an animal, and animals don't need that kind of human equipment; an animal is dangerous because it's an animal!
"Now I imagine that the alternate version of Wolverine, who has Vibranium metal coated over his skeleton, that particular type of metal is not harmful to his body." Where did you get this from? Vibranium has always been one of the most toxic metals in the Marvel universe. That's what makes it so rare, they need to wear protective gear to mine the metal. That's like claiming hexavalent cobalt is harmless, which Vibranium is similar to in toxicity.
@@joshuarichardson6529 I didn’t know that the Vibranium metal is toxic. I thought the reason why it was so rare, is because it is so difficult to obtain, do to where it comes from, and who owns the rights to it.
I thought wolverine getting that metal of his bones, too see his true form was a cool thing to see. Wish that they could've continued too right more stories of him going threw his true form.
The tricky thing about adamantium is, that if you ever manage to process its raw, liquid form, you got to keep it that way, keep it hot. Because once the metal cools, it's indestructible.
We all want to see him and deadpool, even for a few minutes together on screen. Rogue is probably hands down the potential to be the strongest mutant, if she sucked the power off of every mutant ever. Its how she got her flying powers from miss marvel, her side effect is their mind and memories live on in her head and she risks killing anyone she touches. She and Jean Grey are way stronger mutants In saying that wolverine is a great character and loved nightcrawler and mystic as well and beast. Grew up on the cartoon.
@bastiat true , but if she took their powers in a certain order she would be unstoppable. Apart from maybe that one mutant who's power is to stop/drain all other mutants powers abilities. But if she planned it right and took their powers in a certain order she would be unstoppable. Like taking apocalypse power because he had pretty much been doing that for centuries then Jean grays powers and going from their.
@@scarletpanther2513 I have yet to go see it sadly had someone close pass away then got sick. But I shall see it this week can't wait. What did you think of it?
Not to nick-pick but in the movie it wasn't JUST the Adamantium poisoning, the company that made X-23, added a anti-mutant ingredient to most foods. This weakens mutants and reduces/prevents more from being born.
He didn't regrow his adamantium claws. After they were cut off by the samurai, he regrew his bone claws for the first time since the adamantium was infused to his skeletal structure. And he doesn't directly control his healing factor as it is an automatic ability.
Really good video, nicely detailed. Reading the comments though, I see that almost every person is giving input from whatever era they started reading in. Or just from the movies which always change things for everyone to enjoy. I may not look like it but I've been reading X-Men and comics in general for 40 years so I can tell you no one knows everything because it's constantly changing. Not like Manga where you have one writer.
Wolverine is not immune to psychic attacks. There were plenty of times were Wolverine got possessed. For Example, in Uncanny X-Force he got possessed by War of the horsemen of the apocalypse.
Wolverine has a resistance to psychic attacks and or possession. Because of his animal or feral nature it is difficult to hold or control him for long. This is facts and has been shown many times in canon.. Almost every time he is being psychically controlled he always breaks free and it ends very bloody for whoever was unfortunate enough to try him.
@@laurencefenderson6702 Here is one of the definitions of resistance - the ability not to be affected by something, especially adversely He is affected by psychic attacks. Hell he was almost killed by them in X2 and Logan. Also, Uncanny X-Force #1 War took control of him. His team had to attack Wolverine in order to break the hold. Same thing happened with psylocke in the comic
Wolverine was augmented by the weapon plus program being number 10 while Captain America is Weapon 1. this expanded upon the weapon X program. Wolverine became the 4th Horseman death by defeating Sabretooth who had an adamantium skeleton and claws in the comics which is different than the movies. Logan was agumented again by Hydra and The Hand when he was killed by Gorgon and resurrected. It was later revealed in the comics that Xavier is the one who mind wiped Logan an rewrote his personality due to Logan was sent to kill Xavier by Weapon X. During this time Wolverine shrugged off a full-strength punch from Colossus. Walked through a full unrestrained optic blast by cyclops and a physic assault from Jean Grey who was augmented by the phoenix force. At that point Logan regained control over himself because he refused to kill Jean by the order of apocalypse. last fact any time logan dies he fights the angel of death for the ability to return. Also, in the death of wolverine Logan killed himself an saved the subjects who were going to augmented in the new weapon plus process.
I don't get why Wolverine likes Jean. She is so conservative and boring that it hurts. But he has mental problems and maybe she matches his trauma. For me she is unlikeable.
thing they don't go over in Logan is food is laced with mutant suppressing chemicals that prevented his healing factor from just ignoring his Adamantium poisoining. Also Jackman does a great job playing Wolverine but one small issue keeps him from being perfect and that's height as he's significantly taller than his comic book counter part
It's Weapon Plus, Wolverine is Weapon X AKA Weapon 10 as He was the tenth Mutant to undergo the Weapon Plus program...... His claws came out at the the Back of his hands not Palms. Dark Vision not Night Vison... Wolve have Dark Vision. In pitch black they wouldn't be able to see but they can still smell and hear so they would still be able to track that way. they just wouldn't be able to see their surroundings so they would move extremally slowly. Logan didn't die when covered by Adamantium. He only lost his Healing factor for a time and he got it back while encased in the Adamantium and eventually cut his way out of it.
I always thought the adamantium was more fuss than it was worth. Sure it's an upgrade but was it enough considering all the infrastructure involved to get it done? Considering Wolvie's healing power his body is near indestructible anyway.
you forgot to add, that thanks to his super senses he is always on edge and ready to fight any given moment of time. thanks to that he is irritated all the time since he cant have enough rest for his mind. he is drinking to dull this so he could at least get some rest.
So happy someone mentioned the dead pool problem of how he gets his powers, wolverines origion film that introduces wade has the actual deadpool until they ruined him in the end but not entirely.
I'd love to be able to heal like that. Even without claws. If I had an adimantium skeleton I'd learn as many fighting styles as possible over my long life. I have a feeling that the poisonings a factor of the different energies the metal was exposed to.
Personally I would just go natural and build stronger bones naturally because that's my bones break my body adapts and builds harder bones especially with super healing it should happen in the fast rate
@@marvenscharleslouissaint1346 imagine, just having people put you to sleep and break your bones to dust and let them heal it back up again, stronger, repeatedly and you wake up with bones of steel that is also organic.
It wasn’t the adamantium that was inhibiting his healing factor, making him die, it was chemicals that cured the X mutant gene in all of the food and drink commonly consumed (I think it was corn syrup stuff). That’s also why there were less and less mutants and mutants were essentially dying off, all of them were being affected. It was that, that was turning off his healing factor which then also lead to adamantium poisoning slowing his already decaying healing factor further. Because without the majority of his healing, he can’t handle the adamantium which then started to poison him as well. But if he didn’t consume that food/drink, he could still technically have lived with the adamantium forever, since his healing factor could handle it and had adapted to it.
I don't think I've ever heard it discussed but wouldn't the Adamantium surrounding his skull vastly increase his ability to block people messing with his mind and or brain
6:56 wolverine healing factor isn't as good as deadpools wolverine heals faster than deadpool but wolverine can't regrow limbs deadpool can even though it takes days or weeks for him to regrow his limbs his healing factor outclasses wolverines
You forgot that his claws will pop out straight despite what direction his hand is so if his hand is perpendicular to his arm his claws will popout of his palm
Did ya see the difference when wolverine was young and even before the addamantium he never struggled to heal but in the other movies he started to do that very same thing the healing was natural before but in Xmen it started looking like he made efforts to heal himself he groans while attempting to heal
Well yes. Healing doesn't cancel out pain from the initial wound. Just because he heals wounds fast, that doesn't mean that getting the wounds doesn't hurt. why do you think he yells before and during stabbing himself in the Statue of Liberty?? Because he KNOWS stabbing himself through BOTH shoulders AND partially his ribcage is going to hurt. And if you really pay attention his grunting while healing in the X Men movies is more the fact that he's annoyed than in pain.
@@patrickcromwell7554 I also think it was Hugh Jackman giving the role a more personal touch. It makes sense that he'd have thought about how he might psych himself up before doing something painful. I would LOVE to see a version of wolverine where instead of adamantium, his skeleton was coated in Vibranium. It would make him even stronger, more durable and more powerful than he is now. Not only that, but his healing factor would be MUCH stronger since it wouldn't have to be constantly healing him from adamantium poisoning, making in more on par with dead pool's. He would also be able to do the same thing with his claws that black panther does with his suit and reflect the energy of enemy attacks back at them. How awesome would that be?
You also mentioned carbonadium reducing his healing factor. That is also incorrect. To those of us that know Marvel, we know you are drawing that knowledge from Omega Red's coils. That is not what reduced Wolverines healing factor. It is Omega red's death pheromones that greatly affect Wolverines healing factor.
You were wrong about one thing, in the comics the weapon x project originally had sabertooth but wanted to see if wolverine would survive the adamantium bonding process. Saber tooth escaped and weapon x escaped also

You would think that at the very least, the adamantium bullets stuck in his skull from Origins would be problematic in the long term.
In the comics, after Wolverine had the adamantium ripped out his healing factor went into overdrive. When it didnt have to deal with the invasive metal anymore, it showed the true power of his healing abilities. The X-men anime actually shows wolverine's berserker rage really well.
I loved that version of Wolverine, but they ended it.
...yup his berserker really is crazy. He didn't even recognize beast and was about to kill him.
Adamantium poison. Awesome no sense...as his healing Factor voids all poisons. Movie was great until they used that as a reason to why he was dying.
@@IkariMadness You spoke exactly one day too soon
Wolverine and Peter Parker can never catch a break. They always have something horrible happening to them. For James howlet it's his entire life of struggling. For Peter Parker it's the parker luck.
"Happily ever after" requires your story to end. That can't happen in an ongoing comic.
I completely forgot some writers tried to make him american and changed his backstory. James Howlett had me squinting... Who? Oh yeah...
I've always thought that about his pheromones, his son has the same power taken up to an eleven.
He has chest hair, adamantium claws and a beard. It's all I need in a man, the claws are optional.
Can I have the name of the issue or run?
I'd like to know too, that version is after all quite unusual.
15 Batmans, 5 supermans, 5 spidermans, 5 hulks, 5 jokers later There is only one Wolverine 👑
i think a huge part for being everyones favorite, is that of course he is cool AF, but also, on a deeper note, he is one of those mutants who is very powerful BUT also believable; Like you can imagine there is someone out there that for real has ultra fast healing abilities because we all humans already possess some of it.
I dont think it was stated. I keep hearing, because age finally caught up to him, but it doesn't matter.
There even were schematics for them in old reference material like the Official Handbook.
i kinda prefer the change honestly.
The original concept for Wolverine's claws was that they were actually weapons that strapped onto his wrists. But that part never actually made it to final print.
"Wolverine is a decent hand-to-hand combatant."
"decent"?
Are you on glue?
Also, you fail to mention the thing that actually makes him dangerous, his skills as assassin/strategies that he has acquired throughout his long life, This in combination with beserker rage, feral instincts, and physiology, is what make him the best at what he does.

17:07 In the movie Logan, Wolverine isn't suffering from adamantium poisoning. The food is laced with anti mutant chemicals. They spent a significant portion of the movie explaining this at the end.
You better go watch it again because you are wrong.
Sorry but you need to watch the film again.
When do they mention mutant suppression in food I don't remember hearing that?
Wolverine is an actual ninja on top of his animal like tendencies to stalk his prey.
They never bring this up in the movies.
I'd argue Hulk's is better.
“He can regrow the adamantium claws”? I don’t remember reading that one. Bone claws maybe but not the metal ones.
He didn't regrow them in any of the films but did in some of the comics.
If I remember right his healing factor transformed the adamantium in his body from true to beta so it wouldn't mess with his bone natural processes
They are the bome claws. His bones got a chrome job
@@dbears1603 Yes, so his metal bones and claws mutate with him if he's mutated. For example when he got Mr Fantastic's powers in FF/X-Men, his adamantium claws stretched, or the future Phalanx Wolverine who had technoorganic shapeshifting claws.

Wolverine's adamantium changed itself into a partly biological adamantium by time, which slowly grows back if for example his claws are cut Off.
He is now a Metal Digimon
I think they call it Adamantium Red? Yeah, which totally puts the lie to other stories like one of the future ones where he was stuck in a wheelchair after his legs were hit hard enough to bend the adamantium so he couldn't stand up or walk on them. Or the one where his hand was cut off and had a metal cap on the stump because he couldn't regenerate the limb because of the adamantium in it.

The Big difference between Logan ' Sabertooth was Saber(Creed) ENJOYED KILLING WITHOUT REMORSE & Wolverine only when he had to/& that the admantium/Adimantium -ACTUALLY KEPT HIM FROM BECOMING FERAL!
He was almost twohundret years old when the pumped him full with adamantium.
So your last sentence doesn't make sense.
He was born in the 1800s so he's close to 200 yrs old not 300 he would've had to have been born in the 1700s.
But they both lived for centuries without Adamntium, so Wolverine kept off the feral stuff so long?
It was a stupid to be honest.
It's weird that immortal mutant with metal coated skeleton can become MORE complicated
Wolverine and Deadpool are some of the most badass characters in comic history.

WHAT I IMAGINE MIGHT BE DIFFERENT FOR A (WOLVERINE) WHO HAS VIBRANIUM:
Now I imagine that the alternate version of Wolverine, who has Vibranium metal coated over his skeleton, and that particular type of metal is not harmful to his body, and to add I imagine he has an unbelievably amazing immune-system.
Vibranium absorbs vibrations, so that might be an issue. Could he talk if the vibranium is stopping his vocal cords from vibrating and making sound?
Oh shit so he could possibly be completely silent when he moves. Terrifying lol
Wolverine should never have any kind of distinct external armor or weapons. Part of his appeal as a character is that he is an animal, and animals don't need that kind of human equipment; an animal is dangerous because it's an animal!
"Now I imagine that the alternate version of Wolverine, who has Vibranium metal coated over his skeleton, that particular type of metal is not harmful to his body."
Where did you get this from?

There are his kids Daken whose basically been all natural till this year and Laura who only had metal claws until this year as well
The tricky thing about adamantium is, that if you ever manage to process its raw, liquid form, you got to keep it that way, keep it hot.
She and Jean Grey are way stronger mutants
In saying that wolverine is a great character and loved nightcrawler and mystic as well and beast. Grew up on the cartoon.
@bastiat if she took all their power she would be, but lot of dead or comatose mutants In her wake
@bastiat true , but if she took their powers in a certain order she would be unstoppable. Apart from maybe that one mutant who's power is to stop/drain all other mutants powers abilities. But if she planned it right and took their powers in a certain order she would be unstoppable. Wolverine's stamina must be insaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaane!!!
Wolverine is not immune to psychic attacks. There were plenty of times were Wolverine got possessed. For Example, in Uncanny X-Force he got possessed by War of the horsemen of the apocalypse.
Always that 1 guy huh
Wolverine has a resistance to psychic attacks and or possession. Because of his animal or feral nature it is difficult to hold or control him for long.

Just because he heals wounds fast, that doesn't mean that getting the wounds doesn't hurt. why do you think he yells before and during stabbing himself in the Statue of Liberty?? You also mentioned carbonadium reducing his healing factor. That is also incorrect. To those of us that know Marvel, we know you are drawing that knowledge from Omega Red's coils. That is not what reduced Wolverines healing factor. It is Omega red's death pheromones that greatly affect Wolverines healing factor.
You were wrong about one thing, in the comics the weapon x project originally had sabertooth but wanted to see if wolverine would survive the adamantium bonding process. Saber tooth escaped and weapon x escaped also
Huge Ackman coming back with Rain Olds
Gonna be fun
Logan portrays wolverines character development which I nailed the trilogy.
I’d always wondered if the blood from enemies on his claws could introduce some kinda diseases when his claws retract back into his body but thanks for answering that saying he’s immune to diseases. I’ve been a fan of the f the Wolverine character for over 30 years and he’s always been one of my favorites.
Wolverine's first appearance was in Incredible Hulk #179. Those panels were from issue 180
He didn't regrow his metal claws in Wolverine he just grew his bone claws back. It never said how he got his metal claws back but I assume it had something to do with Magneto after seeing him and Charles at the end of the movie.

(13:58) Think you meant to say 2013’s “The Wolverine” as “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” was released in 2009.
I have the Wolverine comics and I'm almost 100% sure that they made it seem like all Wolverine needed to do was focus on his humanity.
One thing we know about Wolverine, bruh NEVER pulls out.
I have the original comic where magneto rips out wolverine’s adamantium and Xavier turns Magneto into a vegetable. Seeing this bring me back, that was one of my favorite comics
