Hey Old Mountain Man. I met you on top of the rocks at Red River Gorge a few weeks ago. I was friends with Phil Henry back in HS. I was wondering what kind of drone you had. You said you really liked it and I am contemplating buying one. I figured you have had multiple and could have some good insight.
Howdy. I have a DJI Mini 3. It's widely considered the best drone currently out there for the money and size - 249 grams. It does more stuff than some of the larger drones. DJI is the top drone manufacturer. The bad news: the drone, screen controller, and one battery will set you back $909. If you get the controller that works with your phone, it's a little less. Of course, you can't do much flying with one battery and no charger, so you'll want to get the "Fly More" kit for just $189. Comes with two batteries, a nifty three battery charger, propellers, and case. If you don't have experience flying a drone, I'd suggest practicing with a cheap one first!
Great spot for lunch!
Also, a great spot for "launch".
Hell yeah! Good job Randy!👍
Rock on!
