So today my cigarette 12v socket just stopped working and I tested my fuse they all seen to be working fine. I being searching the net for about one hour already saw about 8 videos but no one point to a specific fuse. All video just show where the fuse box are, but I even took a picture of the fuse box diagram and none say cigarette 12v output. I see a 10am fuse that says accessory but that fuse is working fine. I pulled out yo see what in the car sop working and the usb plug next to the 12v cigarette outlet stopped working. I put the 10amp fuse back and the usb is working again but not the cigarette outlet. As my understanding that outlet suppose to be a 20amp fuse but again I cannot figured out as I tested all fuse and they look like they are working. I have a 2017 honda civic base model 4 doors
idk if its still relevant to you but from what I saw there is dedicated fuse (number 29) that is described as a cigarette lighter. Have you checked this fuse?
@DeadEXEcute Looking at my owners guide, circuit #29 is 20 amps "front accessory powre socket." Is this the cigarette lighter? that would be 12 v x 20 amps = 240 Watts, seems kinds high. Don't wont to burn my car down.
@@raczyk yeah the cigarette lighter sucker. I already burned 3 socket it look like my amp and Bluetooth speaker i have connected to the amp its draining too much power from the cigarette lighter socket
2016 and 2017 Fuses for Audio is #19 (15A) on the engine compartment fuse box. I’m about to attempt to fix a glitchy infotainment system on my 16’ civic wish me luck.
@@kenunited99 it did work, it saved me a trip to the dealership. I’d recommend being gentle with the whole process as those fuses are very fragile and giving it a minute after removing and putting it back in before testing it. You might need to reset the infotainment system one more time before it fully works.
Stop video Here 0:12
You could’ve been more specific in finding the actual cigarette/charging port fuses, which is fuse #29 if anyone else has the same issue.
But if I describe each fuse this video will take 30 min. sorry
@@FixAlex the video is about: ACC CIGARETTE 12V CHARGER just describe that one! Thanks and great job!
Will 29 work for the radio as well? Can’t really make out all the words in the video
Thanks for this answer! Thats literally all it took lol.

Thanks. Much more clear than other, longer videos. Unfortunately I'm not limber enough to get to the fuses, but I do know what to do!
