Is the reason you use the smaller waistband because of using micro fleece instead of the same fleece as the pants, or some other reason? I have worked with fleece before but not micro fleece, I'm unsure if there is much difference. Would you still make the waistband smaller if you were using heavyweight fleece for the whole pant? Thanks so much!
Just measure the ankle bottoms and subtract about an inch if you want them to pull in a bit. For larger sizes, you can subtract a bit more. If you want them fairly straight, then just leave them the same length. As for width, just double the length you want the cuffs to extend. :)

How did you know how long to make the leg cuffs?
