Fantastic. This is the demonstration and Information I have been missing for catching carp on my local snake lake where there and very few flat spots. It's getting the depth issue right. It was maggots today I assume it applies directly to hard and soft pellets.
Love this guy went to see him on Saturday with my grandson who asked him how to unhook a fish correctly (he dont listen to me or his grandad when we tell him instead he bring the fish to us to unhook xx
Enjoyed the video I fish these types of lakes regularly, I always go straight across straight away,far bank I also tend to lay it up the slope a tad I will try this tomorrow on the canal lake I fish great video Jamie
They way your showing it, you have no top shelf. If the top shelf is 8-10 wide you need to bring the pole section that you’re showing the incline with to the front edge of the top shelf. This will then make the slope steeper. Regards Alan

Really need the camera to show the float rather than Jamie, especially when he is explaining the difference in depths
