In spite of what anyone might say about this man, he was a very intelligent individual. In spite of Watergate, I hope historians give him credit where credit is due.
No doubt he was the smartest president in the 100 years, maybe more. Just listen to him speak in detail about foreign policy from 20, 30, 50 years ago. The man was a genius.
So glad Nixon here gives the whole background about Kent State. So many people don't know what happened at Kent State. All they know is that dramatic photograph. They don't know what preceded it. Students bringing ice picks and machetes to a "peaceful" protest, throwing rocks at firefighters and guardsmen, throwing beer bottles, breaking windows, burning down an entire building, then making sure firefighters couldn't put out the fire. Orders to disperse were ignored. Then, sadly, the guardsmen opened fire. Yes, a mistake. But for crying out loud, look at all the happened beforehand. The students were the ones who turned a supposed "college campus" into a war zone. They were the ones who brought this on themselves by their crazed and violent behavior.
Interviewed 10 years later and he was still wrong about Vietnam. If Nixon only kept with his domestic policy, he could have been a very successful President (excluding Watergate).
Im a huge fan of these videos and I’m very grateful that they’re available. Youre doing a great service for inquisitive minds

Why can’t we not see what they are seeing?

Exactly sounds just like a page out of the BLM book
@@MypronounIsKing History doesn't repeat itself, but it often rhymes.
