I miss the days when that’s how you found the characters. Just walking around. Now you need a PhD and study for six months just to figure out how to attend Disney World. It’s tough to be a parent these days.
It be surprisingly cool to see Disney characters all around Disney world in the parks and the resorts so we can all Meet and greet them everywhere we go in Walt Disney world I would really like that
We ran into Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, and Goofy at Wilderness Lodge and Donald showed up at our resort, Old Key West, in January 2023. I have been going to WDW since 1997, and this was the first time I ever saw characters at the resorts. It was awesome, of course, but my two year old Granddaughter was a little surprised at how REALLY BIG Donald was in real life. Kinda freaked her out, to be honest.
Hopefully it is an attempt to move back towards that idyllic scene in the advertisements where you just randomly see Mickey walking down Main Street (though I am sure Mickey will not be one of the characters that is just in a random spot)
99% of the time you see characters in odd/unexpected places they are in training.

I heard that a factor could be that there might be some mobbing
These characters are training. Before characters are given the ok to work solo after training they do random spot around the park

I’m BEGGING for them to bring back Mickey in his Kingdom Hearts outfit
Omg I wish Disneyland and World would host more KH events! I’m a huge fan as are many others!
I saw Baloo in Fantasyland.

This is definitely true. I recently saw Mulan just outside of the Mickey meet and greet gift shop
Once randomly saw Pooh near Journey into Imagination.
That's actually regularly scheduled!
One time, I waited 10 minutes for him! (It was worth it)
I really hope you want to see Arthur from the sword in the Stone and I also want to see chicken little.
I have seen random characters at the back entrance at Epcot. I’ve met Ariel/Eric, Cinderella/Charming, Belle/Beast. 🤷♀️ they are training CM’s

I met Woody near the entrance to Galaxy’s Edge… I just figured it was because he was near Big Thunder Mountain and it’s western feel 🤷🏼♂️
This is my favorite part of the parks. Especially Galaxy's Edge. ❤
R2-D2 👌
Or in my metaphorical words “you can see some characters in the wrong universe”
They gotta bring back the Jawas
I want Pinocchio to come back to Disney World
I get the feeling Disney/Disneyland has made Dreamlight Valley in rl just so ppl like you stop asking why there are going around other places 😂
Hey, what about that Carousel of Progress meet & greet?!
Disney is actually wild for calling one place pizzarizzo
yesss when I went in December/Jan there was hardly any characters out :(
Cool
Chicken little
I mean Princesses need to poop too
Not chicken little at the start I wouldn't want to spend a second with him cause that movie was so awful
