Bless that lady asking Amos about the bread. She has the patience of a saint I know I would be getting shirt tempered with him even though it's not his fault that English isn't his first language.
I think he deserves the praise for going through so much to please the customer as well. He asked everyone he could (I'm sure it was more than shown) and didn't stop until he got an answer to her request! That's dedication and wanting to please you customers that you don't see often anymore. Especially her in the U.S. because the Karens have taken over.

I myself am not even sure how to correctly spell the type of bread she was asking for so Amos (bless him) wouldn't have stood a chance.

This show is brilliant, But could you please mark each one of them in order of episode. As its a pain clicking on each one, trying to play a bit to see what episode I'm looking for. There is loads of detail in the title at the moment, and it's completely unnecessary, The Hotel S-1 E-1 The Hotel S-1 E-2 Thats the way it needs to be titled, to make the series viewer friendly. It's just frustrating trying to locate the episode, that you want to watch, as it is at the moment. Otherwise, thanks for the upload, it's a great show.

Then college and uni working in a pub, then labourer for 1 year, 12 hr days, then from 22 till 32 offshore, 12 hr days for 6-10 weeks solid. Not all of us then. My point was that Brits can't afford to work a hotel like this for minimum wage, that's what globalism is about, so business owners can pray on poorer & more desperate people.
maybe a number of reasons, like contractual reasons with the hotel. but yes, this is a very watchable series, and i would like to continue seeing how this hotel fares in the future. a problem is however, it stops becoming a documentary once you start repeating the object of your film-making.

Nope. You want series 2, The Torquay Grosvenor for that. There is even one episode where the manager argues with a guest over the view from the room! I nearly fell off the sofa laughing. I quite like this place. I don't think I want to stay there, but the staff try and are human The gonk at the Grosvenor outdoes Basil!

I use pen and paper in situations such as that. Thankfully my phone has an interpreter app that's not failed me yet

@@jacobmassey3897 English uses phonics and that within itself makes the English language the hardest second language to learn that I am well aware of.
