Hi I returned to this video because I remembered how you explained the different families and how their values were represented by these certain men who sort of jump out of you from the pages. I was reading Hebrews 11 which talks about men of faith beginning with Abel’s pleasing sacrifice based on his faith and Enoch not experiencing death also because of his faith. The irony here is that the faith of one is a direct cause of his death provoking jealousy in his brother and in the Enoch’s case it saved him from death... But Hebrews 11:5 clarifies Enoch did not die. The faith of both men was pleasing to God, and leading up to Noah, faith is a clear trait of the favored Lineage, the very lineage that lead up to the man and family God saved from the flood. Also Noah was only saved and used by God because he had the faith to build an ark. Like Jesus says many times, that people’s faith made them well. “Now without faith it is impossible to please God, since the one who draws near to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who seek Him.” Hebrews 11:6 Enoch walked with God because he believed in Him and had so much faith. I think the main point illustrated from these men and their family was their faith in God. “But my righteous one will live by faith; and if he draws back, I have no pleasure in him.” Hebrews 10:38
Thank you so much for this!!!! Genes and pattern breaks of families in the Bible, have always been avoided in my experience. I appreciate this example very much also. Enoch, Noah, Cain, Lamech, and Luke have and will always be my favorite masculine roles in the Bible. Although I’m not very strictly religious, I do love theology and the Christian bible.
Great parallel presentation. Genesis is a VERY complex book. As being a book written about times before language and writings, it’s easy to see how ‘telephone game’ and a story told but written AFTER Tower of Babel would be such a mess. It’s a miracle of God that anything from the Genesis story made it to us.
I found your channel tonight. I am hooked. I have watched 7 or 8 videos so far. I hang on to every word of yours. I do have a question. The author of hebrews states in 11:5 that Enoch was taken up. But verse 13 Says “they all died in faith”. Yeshua told Nicodemus “No one has ascended into heaven except he who descended from heaven, the Son of Man.” Can we then conclude that Enoch did, in fact, die? Can we also determine that Elijah died as well? Didn’t a letter show up from Elijah to Jehoram (2 Chronicles 21:12) after Elijah dies”? Would love your thoughts. Todah Rabah. 🙏🏼
We are sure of what happen to Enoch: Hebrews 11:5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.
Beautiful. Did you know the first two chapters and the last two chapters of Gods word speak of a world with out sin Genesis 1, 2 & Revelation 21, 22 everything in-between is all about the cursed creation and the battle with spiritual warfare against SIN!
1 Timothy 5:17-18 [17] Let the elders who rule well be considered worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in preaching and teaching. [18] For the Scripture says, “You shall not muzzle an ox when it treads out the grain,” and, “The laborer deserves his wages.”
@@TheBibleisArt 😂. Ok now I get it. You don’t really believe the Bible. This is just entertainment to you. So, why exactly did Jesus use a whip to drive people out of the temple?
@@EldoradoTexas you asked why I have ads on, I give a verse. You don’t respond to the verse and accuse me of not believing the Bible. Do you think Christian’s books should be free? It costs money to write, edit, design, and print those. Similarly it takes time to write, cameras and lighting to record, software to edit, microphones for audio, etc.

Question: Why would you monetize your videos? I don't get how people do this straight faced when speaking the Word. Can you help me understand?
