Love this version of Heroes. The environments are a real highlight, with them going with more distinct themes than the console game, like how Zaktan's level is a sky fortress instead of a jungle. Also dig the implementation of Hero mode, and how the player can choose when/if they want to activate it, whereas in the console game it's baked into the gameplay loop, and you're forced to use it.
Agree! In a longer format I definitely would’ve highlighted the environments. I actually used a few seconds of the skybox from the Tidal Caves level in a recent video because I liked it so much.

Loved this game so much growing up. For the longest, for some reason, ive been wondering if it would ever be possible to bring a Bionicle game and give a Souls or High Action Packed gameplay twist to it in todays life. But im not sure if itll maybe flop due to maybe lack of sales which would suck... risky i guess. But man i loved this game and music. ❤
I remembered playing this game back in 2009 it was amazing. Ultrakill is a good boomer shooter (mainly boomer shooter in it's esthetic, the gameplay is really refreshing)
I remember getting this game and initially being disappointed that it wasn't with the Toa Mata. I was a dumb kid and somehow didn't piece together that it was the Toa Inika instead. I didn't like it at first, but as I played I grew to really like the Inika and finally explore the 2006-2009 story. I still don't like the masks, but their characters are great! Really happy more people are covering this game
