This music video is just the cutest. I love the cuts between the Cartoon Johns and the Johns of Flesh. The cartoon segments barely seem to follow a coherent plotline, and, well, that's oddly perfect!

Old guy here and I seem to recall MTV using bits of this video in one of their bumpers in the '80s. I know they had a separate bumper that was animated by the same guy, but I remember the dancing buildings in the MTV bumper, and those are not in the other bumper. Does anyone out there remember this?
This video animation always lowkey pisses me off, do they really think Linnel is a blonde? He's not got sandy brown hair, it's as dark as Flan's...so they said screw it, we'll do the likeness of one of them. If it isn't supposed to be them idk that's worse, how hard is it to color the hair a darker shade of brown? ahhh it's just me, I know.
I think it's plain old cartoon logic rather than an actual attempt at accuracy. Like it makes them look like more of an opposites sort of duo and all. But I get your point! TwT
