For the most part I enjoy the off-road content from your videos but above that your a human being and you taking a moment to pay respects to mothers is good for all of us.
I appreciate that, I am most definitely just a regular old human not a cyborg haha. To be honest its been over 2 years she's been gone and I'm really not at peace with the way it went down, and probably never will be. Getting it running felt like a huge victory for the soul. Now Ill fix up what needs fixed and who knows what I will do with it
@@Supremebean303 go through that stuff one at a time and keep trying. There are some fusible links built in on some models and other models have a mega fuse. That was the next place I was going to tear apart
Me too! I drove it to work yesterday and it did quite well. Has a bit of a small shake so I need to check out the front end. Not looking to dump money into it though.
Nice Ranger man. If they made that Ranger now, they'd sell millions. I live in Vegas, they are still everywhere, pool repair trucks, construction trucks... they are still out there working. You got rust so I know you don't live in the desert. Tires are flat spotted. Keep it and put it to work, save same gas.
The ranger they make now barely sells, but they have the cheap(garbage) maverick and by cheap its still 30 grand lol and looks like a honda ridgeline haha. This thing only has 104k on it but you see what the frame looks like
@@FlawedOffroad Yeahthe frame has some rust but it's not terminal. Coat it with that Eastwood rust converter. I think your Moms truck can serve you well. And I think she'd appreciate that. I sure won't mind you making videos about her truck. Do what you feel like doing. It's your channel and that truck is part of your life. We love you man (In a mans sort of way)
For future reference: I have to hunt around to a couple different local parts stores, but finally found one that has a big box of various fuel line parts. They have had every odd ball one I’ve needed. Mine is a local NapA with some good old boys running it. If that line kinks when it gets warm this summer you might find a 90° fitting that way.
Do you want to sale her? Because I need it. My parents truck has same identical problem! Also has a crank but want start so I need a truck to make one great truck!!! Or can you give me any information on what I could do to get her started???

Awesome, got a runner! Jealous of the weather, 5deg here. 5.3 fired up yesterday in my LJ for first time - plenty of details to work through
the winter was odd here, got 27" of snow in 3 days and the rest of the winter has been warm lol. Heck yeah on the 5.3 cant wait to see it rip!
And thank you - sharing your experience with your mom passing and the little montage of her means a lot you rock as a son
Really Enjoy the content Thank you for posting
Glad you enjoy it!
I like the ranger vid. I thought of buying one to do hauls for my house remolding supplies this way I don’t borrow a truck. Like rent one.
Its a pretty solid platform
Nice tribute to your mom. I lost mine also. It was a tough time.
God bless you and your late mom my man. I’m having issues with my Ranger like in your first vid with something getting shorted out.

Glad you finally got it running. for yourself and your ma.

@@TheBandit7613 thanks man. Yeah it’s got some life left in it. My kids first car is falling apart so I might just have him drive it

I forgot my local Napa usually has a bunch of extra stuff in back like that.
Now that it got warm out it started leaking so back to the drawing board
Good job getting it running. Moms are important. I am sooooo glad I don't live in a rust belt lol. That stuff is no bueno.
Check the heater blower coil for the smoke and smell of burning
ALl the speeds seem to work fine, it was the radio that tried to catch fire..
Don't do it for the views brother. Do it for you mom! Anyone don't like it, fuck 'em I say

No I think Im gonna hang onto it. All I can say is follow the steps I did in the few ranger videos I put out
