    I feel like dungarees are an essential in any wardrobe! So in this tutorial I take through the steps of how to create your own that feature the classic button up front style, pockets, leg splits(if you wish) and just an all round comfy, slip on fit!
    The self drafting process means you can tailor these dungarees to suit your body and style with your preferred finishing touches. Make a neutral linen one to blend in with your minimal wardrobe, or even experiment with bold prints and colours to add something a little more spicy to your closet. Enjoy the creative process!
    Make what you can and ethically source the rest!
    The Essentials Club tutorial channel is all about sharing the steps to become more resourceful and creative with crafting your own minimal, conscious wardrobe.

    Can I just say how much I appreciate the fact that you aren’t using patterns. This is waaayy more accessible for me! Thank you!

      Yes this is really handy and suits me very well as I have never been great at following pattern instructions and like to just cut straight to the simplest way of ding something and Maddie does this beautifully!

    Something that I have noticed is that your style is very much my style, clean lines and a love for simplicity as accessorising works best with simpler designs! What I am going to do is to make my own templates for the certain necklines that you have shown here as that way we can create items of clothing with the same measurements as once it fits perfectly then it will always turn out that way. I usually save packaging that has large areas of card that I can create templates with and then I will name them and put the measurements so that I have all of that easily available! Thank your for the inspiration!

    This is one of the best tutorials I have found on how to make a jumper. I love how you made it so we can not only make it to our size but can change any part at any time. Thank you! Would adding interfacing to the top sections help or would it be too much?

    • @TheEssentialsClub
      @TheEssentialsClub  2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      All about being able to customise it to our body/style 🙌🏽 glad you enjoyed this aspect too! With the interfacing I guess it depends on the fit you’re aiming for - personally I want mine to be a bit more softer/flowy and if you prefer it stiffer/structured, interfacing would help achieve that! Hope that helps 😊

      I feel this. But I’m opposite. I’m pear shaped. So I have to size up to fit my hips and then it never fits my top.
      I loved the video. Can’t wait to make one for myself.

    Are the straps you spaced on the back panel 7 inches apart from their inner edges, from the center of the straps, or from the outer edges of the straps? (I hope my question makes sense!)

    • @TheEssentialsClub
      @TheEssentialsClub  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Totally makes sense! 7 inches is measured from the inner edges.
