I looked into the stats of the losing team (match 2) on the jarls list. 6 of these people were absolute beginners with 3 months or less into the game. One of them has not even played 50 games yet. Except for one player, Baradul has more matches than 11 of his opponents combined. leaderboard.isengrim.org/search?u=Coward1%0D%0AEldrad+Ulthran%0D%0ASaltySynonym%0D%0AArgoose%0D%0AMAxiMus3020%0D%0ARoboterkrieg%0D%0AGA+450%0D%0Aphilluder%0D%0AAngstrom+Parallax%0D%0ANosfer-Et+tu+brute%0D%0AAjerWerklWerkl%0D%0AUa07 On Baraduls team was a player with only 66 matches, though: leaderboard.isengrim.org/search?u=SoCmONkEy%0D%0ATestcore%0D%0AS4NDR4%0D%0ABaradul%0D%0AElennarion%0D%0Ahytsz%0D%0ALouis+Brofist%0D%0ASkidFire%0D%0AClaw+424%0D%0AWilliam+Batley%0D%0ABinkyuk%0D%0AZ1OyDed This was no challenge, this was a pre-determined beatdown.
MM goes purely by PSR I believe, so even if somebody is 30% on Jarls they count just as much as somebody who’s 99% if they are both capped tier 1. MS kickers desperately need to be updated
@@Nopenotyou The MM has never worked properly anyway. PSR is useless with the current system. They should rather go for match score. I have an average of about 270 lately and am in T1. I just shouldn't be there.
It's telling that game 2 is maybe the only time I have ever actually SEEN a base assault happen on Polar Highlands. Which kind of says a lot about A) how weird Polar Highlands is, and B) how much every normal game mode is really just 'Skirmish with an optional win-condition.'
@@MrTBSC what? you dont like having to play hide and seek with the flee or raven thats shut down somewere in a crevice on the edge of the map? or better, than vapor eagle that decides he'll just shut down on top of one of the spires were its litterly impossible to see, shoot,or even get too?
I was in the 2nd game. It was pretty weird dynamics, strange pacing and also pretty onesided, but it ended up being a lot of fun. I destroyed the wall so you could go for the Uziel towards the end of the match, now I see why you didn't. Anyways Its always fun if the games turn weird these days, something new.
Your team had a player that did intentional team damage to me and another teammate about 2 weeks before this because we wouldn't push down the tunnel into the enemy firing line. We had short range builds and it would have been suicide. He basically stripped our armour and then we died when the enemy team pushed into us. Seems to not be a team player here either, he did a lot of talking, had lots of armour left at end of match and lowish damage scores.
oh cool, I was the BJ-A at the very end of game 2 our team spent most of the time dilly-dallying in cover because most of us were brawling mechs and couldn't decide if we should push across open ground or not; you can see how that ended for us this is actually the game that convinced me to change my BJ-A to use 2x ER MLs and 1x LL instead of 3x MPLs, since all I could do was sit in cover and wait for someone to push in
I play the same weapon loadout on my King crab. Having steerable arm mounts makes the fire power so much more effective, and easier to defend. Edit : KC also carriers way more ammo and heat sinking capacity. Or the option to mount 2 rocket 20's for emergency burst damage.
First game was yet another example of what happens when the faster mechs have a silly attitude towards their slower assaults and just leave them behind. I don't know what it is about the current attitudes of the world but in my day the motto was "Never leave a fallen man behind." Now it's "Never go back." Well here's the thing. you don't have to go back if you don't run 'headless chicken' like ahead in the first place! Play as a team. As for the second match I put that down to Polar which is in my opinion, the worst map in the game. It nearly always ends up being a waste of everyone's time. That build is pretty devastating though I have to say. As usual, you did your job Bara. Thank you for the videos :D
The suiciding lights are less of a problem than mechs who sit hiding behind cover hoping to engage late in a fight and steal all the kills while their team mates do all the work trading armour. Seen so many of these recently, players who sit out entire matches hoping to sneak in score in the last 3rd.
What a weird coincidence. I literally just watched your other video with this exact build. It's the universe's way of telling me I have to build this. I will make it so.
While I certainly love any Mauler build, I wonder if this would be better suited running quad rac2s with more armor and maybe a pair of SRMs to scare off lights? Just a thought. Great video!
The TBR Prime, it receives a missile cooldown bonus. I slap on 2x ATMS 12s then I throw in 6.5 tons (minimum) of ATM missile ammo. 4x heavy med lasers, 2x light machine guns, 2x tons of light machine gun ammo, 1x er small laser. I can do 900 - 1000 damage with that build if I use cover.
Love these builds, and the videos! Any chance you can just post build codes from time to time? Instead of having to pause and copy? Sometimes myself and friends have trouble trying your loadouts, and it sucks. We're semi new and sometimes it's hard to follow!
Whitmore does the Independence day speech. The one you're quoting is from the third Matrix movie(Revolutions), specifically Captain Mifune as he addresses the APU corps.
Can you cover some daily dose of mech that DON'T cost MC to purchase. Im not paying $15 per mech just to play and there are some amazing cheese/gimmick builds you can show off with c-bill variants.
I have hardly played the game, but there is just something relaxing about occasionally watching a man stomp around in a giant mech.

to the point were i would have skirmish removed so the last surviving enemy mech doesn´t go and waste everyones time with hiding ..

I built this mech the first time you showed it and have enjoyed it ever since, thanks for the games keep it up!

I love the drum solo that thing hammers out
A mauler without lasers in the arms looks so damn weird. Great vid though!
Hello Bara! Fun showing! Yesterday I stumbled on a 3 year old video where you were letting your wife play. It was adorable! Do it again!
First match, I was worried your strike would team-damage real bad. And.... zero team damage! As Darth Vader would say: "Impressive. Most Impressive".
PGI really needs to have rotating starting positions for every map.
I do love the Mauler.
While I certainly love any Mauler build, I wonder if this would be better suited running quad rac2s with more armor and maybe a pair of SRMs to scare off lights? Just a thought. Great video!
I really want to see baradul running Missile build in this mech with machineguns because that Mauler have some good Missile quirks
What about 2 uac instead of 3 ac? Wouldnt that give you some weight to put into more shield armor in both arms.
Great Video! Awesome build... lol.. Thank You!
Hello Baradul, it's going well! How're you doing? Another good video! I always learn so much about this game.
1st game you broke your own nascar rule.
2 more daily dose until a certain number of them.
yo baradul can we see a timber wolf build i want to buy a timber wolf but don't really know what to build on it
keep up the good work!

I prefer doing this build in the Mad 3R since i can cram 4 med lasers in that as well
You should do an MRM 40 or 60 Mauler! Like a weaker Mean Baby
Let's see something wacky for daily does #1337
Love these builds, and the videos!

You got to try 2rac 2's and 2 uac10's it's awesome
The RAC and AC attack.
awesome vid as usual
(second match) tsk tsk out of ammo, and that is why all of my builds have some form of laser backup.
What is Dakka?
If it's your time to die, it's your time to die. All I ask is GIVE THEM HELL BEFORE YOU DO!

Wow that first game was a joke of team cohesion.

This mauler can be fully built with c-bills
I was totally not watching the kill count in this game and thought I could burst the mad cat to death when i droped. Sadly a stupid decision -,-
Another prime build to steal
He must of ran this same build in a different video.
WP GG)))
Tough first match.......
