You seemed like a different person, so happy and relaxed. I didn't realize before that you have a great sense of humor. You asked about wintertime, I prefer mine here in Florida, nice a warm. Hope you are doing well and planning for your big trip. Stay well and be happy.
Hi Svetlana, I’ve been to Paris twice and I have enjoyed it very much, a girlfriend of mine said that the metro is probably the warmest place in the real cold weather and of course it’s the best way to travel and if you can avoid the pickpockets all the better, I have been in summer and winter and I know it tends to be colder nearest the river, it’s good that you managed to go around all of the tourist spots, I did go to Moulin Rouge really quite late and it was an interesting experience although it may not be to your taste because of the red light connection, I’m in London at the moment and the weather is similar to what you experienced, looking forward to your next adventure ❤
I have also been to Paris 2 years ago, Maisons-Lafitte at the campsite with the caravan and there for +10 days and with a 5 day museum pass, visited the major museums, some 2 in a day, with the RER that maze to Paris but also by bike quite an experience.
hello, i am french and just a bit annoyed by some russian idealize some french things comparing to their own experience and their governement. There are two types of protesting in France. The one you came across in this video wich is indeed peaceful and useless. There are some protestations like that every week end in Paris and nobody care. And second type is like great movement leading by desesperate working-class people wich are determined, upset and can become threat for the power. For instance like "gilet jaune" few years ago. And believe me in that case, the governement hit and hit hard and manifestation are forbidden and a lot of protestor were injured by police (they lost arm and eye with flashball) and put in jail. By the way i love you and your video.🥰
Svetlana, there are lots of places to see when you go to Poland. There is Wilanow Palace - a 17th century Palace on the outskirts of Warsaw, the capital. You should go to Krakow in southern Poland, the old capital. Go see the underground Wieslicza salt mines. It's amazing. The chandeliers, tables and paintings are all made of salt.
I recommend to you underpants, for such traveling. It takes little space in luggage, but it can significantly increase your comfort during these cold weather walkabouts. Especially those made of merino wool. I prefer these, better than thick jacket, through legs, you loose more of warm.
Svetlana, you should take a Seine river cruise in Paris on the Baton Mouche . I recommend it. That was the best part of my trip, seeing various bridges and scenery on the Seine. I also like visiting the Notre Dame Cathedral. It's a 9th century Gothic Cathedral. Very historic. You must go to Versailles to see the palace of Louis XIV the Sun King
COMMENT: nice one, I to remember spring in spring/summer, in the lovely cafes, food cuisine, architecture, and "vibe" of the city a distinct character. Thanks for sharing, and look forward to your wonderful journeys in life....go figure.
This is cool seeing the architecture in Paris as someone who has never been to Paris or France before and only know it from History or movies and shows.
Thank you for your video from Paris, Svetlana. But Paris is nicer during Spring and Fall. I went to Paris many years ago and I not only enjoyed it, but I also learned the French language better and was after a while able to talk to the people in Paris in their own language.
Thanks for spending time with me in Paris! - Yeah I wish, but now that I am back on my channel making videos, somehow I think our path might cross somewhere, in the meantime it's great to see you and to see your talent, vision and passion in the videos you create. One more thing, did you know you are damn cute
Здравствуйте Светлана! Merci pour cette merveilleuse vidéo sur Paris qui reste très jolie même avec le mauvais temps ... С уважением, с нетерпением жду встречи с вами снова в Париже
I generally prefer no snow, but once in awhile snow makes everything look better. I just don’t like having to drive, or walk very far in it. I drove from Chicago to Seattle right after Christmas and Interstate 90 was temporarily closed due to a small blizzard. It was only an inch of dry powdery snow, but the strong winds blew it into drifts and hitting them was like hitting a solid object, so I stopped in a motel overnight until the highway was open again. I tried to look up protests in Paris in January guessing you might have been there then. Farmers had a protest the last few days of the month about a diesel subsidy being taken away and being squeezed on prices because the government was trying to reduce food inflation. There was a protest about immigration laws a week or so before, but that’s all I saw. I wasn’t sure if the protesters were for or against the immigration law, or what it was, just that they were out making their opinions heard.
Most of present day Paris was laid down following the French Revolution; a revolution where they overthrew the aristocracy. Paris is a republican city.
18:03 Paris is a beautiful city and I would love to go. It's a pity the weather wasn't better. When the sky is blue it's extra pretty and the buildings look even more amazing.
Hi Svetlana, Добро пожаловать во Францию! It’s interesting to see your walk in my country. For the demonstration, you came across something that is not at all the example of what the government usually does. You would be surprised to know that the movement that was marching demanded that France leave the EU, NATO and stop giving money and weapons somewhere! In other demonstrations, there were eyes gouged out, hands torn off by police weapons and numerous arrests.
Visit Moulin Rouge during the evening as the show is amazing (always book tickets in advance). As for restaurants try Gigi in Avenue Montaigne (in the Golden Triangle) and Girafe in Place de Trocadero. An afternoon trip to Chateux de Vaux le Vicomte (about a half hour drive from the outskirts of Paris) is definitely worth the effort; it's like a smaller version of Versailles and much less crowded. Poka.
The people were chanting "Frexit" - French exit from the European Union, they were anti the European Union and the general "international community" "Green regulation" attacks on French farming and small business.
Svetlana, since you are going to Poland, you need to eat some Polish food. There are pierogies. It's similar to vareniki and pelmeni. You should also have Hunter's stew, zurek - a sour Polish soup made with dill, cucumber, bacon, potato and sausage, kotlety schwaby - it's like a breaded pork schnitzel with a dash of lemon. Then you need to eat lodi - Polish ice cream.
Svetlana, I wish you were in Paris for more days because I've been to Paris and would have given you some great places to see. The Eiffel Tower is a must. The Moulin Rouge is hit or miss. Some people like it and some people don't care about it. The Louvre is a must. You have to see the Mona Lisa painting and Venus de Milo sculpture.
Dear Svetlana, Happy Women's Day to you for sharing so much of life with us of wonderful Russia. You're spending this day in Europe right now, but it's fine. I'm mainly happy that you share Russia and makes me want to go there one day. Such a vast country and I love seeing how wholesome Russians can be so wholesome, but I love the deep soul that I can sense in them when I meet them out here in the world. Happy Women's Day! 🌹🌷🌹🌷🌹
Winter is Kansas…depends…maybe snow on or about Christmas time…but New Jersey…forget about it…if you have 28 inches of snow and ice…wait ten days for ten more inches of snow….driving slow and steady on the ice…brings back memories…just a little slide every now and then…so now it’s Florida….like I said…forget about it…and backing up…a bit…both Kansas and New Jersey…most days are winter dark…not very often the sun breaks through…so it is just Sad gloomy…
In terms of food, French Onion soup is great. Besides this Svetlana you must go eat a Croque Monsieur breakfast sandwich, macaroons are great. I don't care much for French food, Svetlana. I love German and Austrian food - Wiener schnitzel, bratwurst, currywurst etc. I'm a meat and potato type of guy, Svetlana.
That first day when you got lost…3 times…maybe…without downloading an app…to get around Paris….can be a little scary…but I was just thinking…not out loud…but two weeks in France..might just be about the perfect amount of time to spend…traveling through the wine country…and checking out Normandy and the rusting guns of World War Two..just remembering this old American song…WHEN YOU’RE IN LOVE WITH A BEAUTIFUL WOMAN…not really a fast song…but pretty…so…some wine country…some history..and some street art…and a sidewalk cafe with coffee each morning…just blend in…my grandmother left Germany…a long time ago…wish she were still around to see Paris…
Notre Dame, Louvre, Moulin Rogue, Arc de Triomf, Eifel Tower, I've seen them all. Luckily my sister and her son were there with me. We were there in July - summer time. My sister's son took pictures of us. My sister did not want to climb all the stairs to the top of ?Notre Dame. That is another type of beauty looking from there than it is from the Eiffel tower. When we went up the Eiffel Tower, it was on a Sunday. When we wanted to go back to our hotel, an old uncle passed us and said the busses are available only up to a certain time. I lost my sense of direction and had to follow my sister and her son. (They argued a lot!) I bought fruit from a shop and next to the shop was a fancy restaurant. We started walking and walking and walking - in one big circle! I told them and they said no. I called them back. I sat on the pavement. They came to me and I showed to the shop behind me. That was the shop I bought the fruit from. It was 11 pm. I asked the shop owner to please phone a taxi for us Oh, we went to Disney World Paris too. It was lovely. Bastille Day? Disney World had a beautiful show of fireworks, etc.! We had to rush as there were only 1 train left going back to Paris. I think it was 24 years ago. We went with the Euro Star train from London to Paris. It was on my sister's birthday. The 13th of July. You can walk far! I couldn't. Thanks for waking my memory up!
Hemingway it reminds me of that movie Midnight in Paris where the guy goes back in time unexpectedly and meets some important people like Ernest Hemingway, F. Scott Fitzgerald 1920's. He (Hemingway) influenced me to purchase a hunting rifle he used in Africa. I would love to walk around there in the rain!!
I live in Los Angeles and would like to feel one winter with snow. I Love watching your videos, you do a great job. Also you speak good english with a beautiful accent. Keep up the good work.
Spring is in the air…it is March…back in Kansas…we experienced the weather as it should be…normal…Windy in March…rain in April…May and June…graduation and weddings…summer…long hot sunny day…
Not sure what possessed you to go to Paris while it is still cold…not criticizing you..,just your choices…if I was scheduling Paris…it would be April…or May…I would wander the streets looking at art or artists….
You should have dinner at the Tour Eiffel restaurant, for a one off treat. Unique view, especially at night. Unfortunately the Mayor has a pathological of cars.

your pronunciation sounds natural enough don’t stress about it ⭐️
Thank You for reminding all of us that life is GOOD...😊
What could be more delightful? The City of Lights with lovely Svetlana!
I prefer winter with snow! It’s cozy and magical.
You seemed like a different person, so happy and relaxed. I didn't realize before that you have a great sense of humor. You asked about wintertime, I prefer mine here in Florida, nice a warm. Hope you are doing well and planning for your big trip. Stay well and be happy.
You are so young and beautiful..even without makeup. I am so glad you are in an exciting city and are not bored. enjoy
The protesters wanted France to leave the EU, like UK did. Frexit 😁
We in Holland like also to leave the EU, NEXIT ❤😀👏

I don’t know about the Tower, but you definitely are an Eye-full, Svetlana!
I love the winter sun in Arizona! 🙂
paris always reminds me of barcelona, i consider barcelona my second home, since ive spend almost 10yrs there.

I like snowy weather around the holidays, but I prefer regular days in winter without wind, snow or ice. :)
HI Svetlana, You're always so classy. It's a pleasure to watch your posts. 18:58
I think those fishes couldn't as the lake is frozen!!!
just loved the street you stumbled upon!!💖

Yes! If it has to be cold at least it isn't slippery and getting all over everything.
Thanks
Fully agree with your comments on Moulin Rouge. Especially when there are so many other great places to visit in Paris. :)
As always very nice to watch one of your great videos! Greetings from French-speaking Switzerland 🙂
I don't like winter, I'm from Australia. I'm 64, and I've never seen snow.
It's 40°c where I am today. I can't even comprehend being that cold.
Thanks for spending time with me in Paris! - Yeah I wish, but now that I am back on my channel making videos, somehow I think our path might cross somewhere, in the meantime it's great to see you and to see your talent, vision and passion in the videos you create. Winter with snow is best, or at the very least without bugs.
Thanks!
Thank you!🙂
I prefer winter in Florida. I grew up in Buffalo...so no more snow.
Hola...tanto tiempo...Svetlana...pense que ya no te veria...reapareciste como un ave fenix...como siempre...hermosa!!! Me encantas!!! TE AMO!!!

We have an extremely wet winter in the United Kingdom with flooding and that's normal United Kingdom winter
I like seeing your videos
Paris and Rome the most beautiful place in the world.....Sorry I forgot Florence.
I guess you haven't been around much.
Paris is an aristocratic city. I was there some years ago and thoroughly enjoyed my stay there. The Camembert cheese is really good.
Most of present day Paris was laid down following the French Revolution; a revolution where they overthrew the aristocracy. Paris is a republican city.
It was, it was, perhaps during Mr Louis de Funes time. And a little bit earlier. Watch Louis de Funes "Muskatnuss".😂🎉😊

it is called kotlet schabowy not schwaby...@@martinkasper197

8:23 Winter WITH snow. I guess it's annoying to walk in slushy muddy snow but it looks great in videos.
Svetlana you're beautiful, I like your style, also, your English is perfect and your videos are professionally done. Hats off! Bravo 👏
Svety, Thank you for such a delightful video. Plenty of closeups of you! I hope you continue to do videos after you leave for U.S.A. ben/ michigan

Winter with both😊

Even in winter there are some plants that never lose their color…the shrubs need some moisture in the ground..
When you see people in Russia protesting…people, are, detained….yes you are right…jailed…
I like going in late winter or very early spring ; a bit warmer and not many tourists around.
I like winter but our winter is minimum temperature 16 to 19 degrees 😊
What????? Svetlana you look amazing in this video... As you usually do
МЫ ЛЮБИМ ВАС, СВЕТЛАНА, НАСЛАЖДАЙТЕСЬ ПОЕЗДКОЙ
❤
You should have dinner at the Tour Eiffel restaurant, for a one off treat. Unique view, especially at night. Unfortunately the Mayor has a pathological of cars.
Perfect music…I am not saying there is food around every corner…but there has to be…even in the smaller streets…JET LAG…
Merci Beaucoup La Belle Jeune fille!
I always traveled during the coldest parts of winter, far cheaper and almost no other tourists to ruin a trip. Deeper the snow the better
It was 39c in Paris when I visited, I believe it's a more beautiful city than here in London their buildings are enormous. Paul Coffee are good quality I visit them when in Mauritius visiting family
A friend of mine likened Paris to a little village compared to Moscow. You're right SPB is quite similar to Paris.
I would have said an open air toilet instead of a little village. Sorry but it is true.
lol, Svetlana, Moulin Rouge is famous for its shows, not for the exterior 😅😅
Also Montmatre and Champs-Elysées is really only for tourists. Best places are on the banks of the river Seine from bridge Alexandre III to Notre-Dame cathedral,
And I'd say the boulevard Saint-German, and I'd say the Jardin du Luxembourg..
It's of better taste for a smart lady like you
Hope you enjoyed my city ❤💞
PS : lol I hadn't seen it to the end) I think you're confusing Jardin des Tuileries with Parc Monceau, that is often shown in ancient photos; Enjoy thou and be always welcome
looks very safe there
Cheese burgers 🍔 and bacon 🥓 every day 😋
Я был на Монмартре на неделю в декабре 2023. Посетил спектакль Мулен Руж. Это удивительно! Спасибо за видео 😊
I am here also. 😜
🥰🥰🥰
A few things:
Winter with snow before the plows come through. Then it turns gray and yucky.

the correct pronunciation for The Eiffel Tower is " eye fel Tower." the "e" is silent. So you should say it "i" ffel tower.
6:33 Mmm yummy Svet ! 😋 🍛
the trick to not walk in circles in Paris is to remember that á la droit means to the right but tout droit means straight ahead!!
Dobro pojalovat doma :)
Bonne chance, Svetlana!
01:18 - 01:29 reminds me of the Broken Sword series of adventure games. 😍
Paris is like London a sh*th*le. 😊
Zeymour should take over! 😂🎉😅
You are looking like this because of the weather
