Madam, you have nicely educated us regarding types of cataract surgery..! I am 57, RE in BE, DM 2 since last 3-4 years. BE Moderate NPDR & Cataract in RE. Will appreciate knowing your opinion regarding Surgical/ AI method intervention for cataract (with NPDR) or should wait till NPDR is managed. Which type of lense Clarion EDOF or Monofocal Will be useful. I am from Gurgaon, can come and get treatment (cost ?) at Shankar Netralaya. Pls reply...!

Respected ma'am, some studies claim that if the surgery of posterior polar cataract is done using FLACS, it creates a cleavage plane between posterior capsule and epinucleus which facilities safer removal of epinucleus without rupturing the posterior capsule. Is it true ?
