Are you supposed to install wall panels over this system or this system over wall panels? Is this setup for vans where you don't plan to build out the interior? It looks difficult to figure in trim rings and wall panel setups because part the the bracket looks like it curves into the window cutout where you might put a trim ring.

It's designed to work with Flarespace space saver trim rings, so you won't run into any issues there.
