Try it at 80 iso. You will be impressed with how little noise there is. Just be aware of your highlights. I use my X-T3's for some of my pro work at 80iso and it is quite impressive. Also, I only use Capture One when using the X series cameras. Excellent results compared to LR. 🙂🙂🙂

I’m looking forward to your in depth review. I have an X-Pro 3 arriving next week and, like you, it will be my first experience with the X-Pro line. I do already use the X-T3 and the GFX line. I’ve been intrigued with the new X-Pro 3 both due to the beautiful design and build quality as well as the use of the updated sensor, processor, and viewfinder. Also, Jonas Rash’s video and article are excellent and easily pushed me over the edge :). [He is the one who supplies all the Fujifilm camera product photos with the black background.]

Sorry to spoil your fun, but there is no new sensor and processor in X-Pro 3 :) it's the same as X-T3, if you compare is with X-Pro 2, yes :)

In all the time I have owned a smart phone and either a dslr or my xt-2, I have never thought of downloading the manual. I just did. Thanks for the great tip.

Interesting camera. Pictures are very nice and velvety. Can’t wait for the next episode on the camera. Great video and commentary.

Could you explain how to set up long exposures of 30 seconds or 3 minutes on Xpro3? I know it is on the T setting. But somehow it is not working

Great video. Oh how I wish it had the articulating screen instead of the fold down screen.

Wow! Are you using the Voigtlander 50mm f1.2 Nokton or the 40mm f1.2 Nokton? Those are incredible lenses! Love your down to earth reviews!

I 'm envious... mine should have arrived yesterday, but due to Christmas overload... no camera yet!
Sooo, I am not in the best of moods... It' s foggy and cold, unpleasant day, so I'll try to watch videos like yours, fiddle with my old PRO 1, read and old book on the Pro1, and drink lots of hot tea and cookies
    Stay well and thanks

I know and I agree.. My Pro3 arrived monday and I am enjoying it 100%...twicking the settings and so on...!
Yes, and I do like grey, foggy days for photogrphy as I prefer black&white...!
      Thanks and stay well.

well, I upgraded from the Pro1 to the Pro3... but I am also enjoying my GFR 50 S and a nice range of lenses... I use it as a square format, it is a pleasure to use and the output files are jaw dropping... 😎

      ...I also do mainly landscapes...
But, although and inevitable heavier then the Pro3, the GFX system, if used carefully, is perfectly portable...but if you stay bringing all lenses to cover for every possible situation... the final wight might be unbearable....
If suspect more use of wide angle I bring the 23 and 90, if spartan medium the 32-64, for medium without "extremes" the 32-64 + 100-200 in in some cases, for longer shots the 250.
But with the flexibility of cropping such big and nice files I never am too worried...
I do not know how old are you, but I still remember the first time I saw the Nikkor 43-56 ...a monster amplitude zoom for the time... and masters like Ansel Adams working only with one or two single focal lenses... are we able to be as good as them with all or magnificent gear?... NO!

I pre ordered the plain black version and was lucky enough to get it on the release date. So far I have used it for street photography and landscapes/cityscapes (day & night), even fixing my L bracket onto it and doing panos. OK the rear screen doesn’t fully open with the bracket but it was quite manageable and having grown up in the days of film cameras without a rear screen I know from past experience that we don’t need them, but yes they are handy. Whilst Fuji do have stabilised lenses and the X-Pro3 can take video, it’s not really a video camera. It’s good to be able to take the odd one if a situation arises but primarily it’s a stills camera and in my opinion a very good one. Like the X-T3 it has various stacking/bracketing features too but I’m pleased that they have made the two cameras different in many ways. Looking forward to your review.

Nice revue. It reminds me of the Leica M3 film camera. It was small too. As for your method . I am sure we could put a pin hole camera in your hands and you would get great results. When I shoot. I like Manual. Complete control of my camera. Is there any camera you have gotten bad results?

Thank you for the compliment! I think if you have the technical knowledge and a bit of creativity, you can get good results with any camera. :)

They're both great choices. They do have different form factors though, so try to get each in your hands and see which one you like to use better. :)
